Having your photo taken can be an awkward experience, but Aaron did a fantastic job of drawing us out and making the photos look fun and natural. He made us laugh and feel comfortable during the whole process. Marla was also kind enough to bring us water bottles which we greatly appreciated in the August heat. We took our photos in downtown Grapevine and Aaron and Marla knew exactly where to take us to get some stunning shots and beautiful backgrounds. It was such an easy and fun process with them, and we loved how the photos turned out. These guys are seriously awesome!

They communicate every step of the way so that you know what to expect during your session and to ensure that they are capturing all of the moments that you would be proud to hang up on your wall! Our first session was a family portrait (8 Adults & 2 Toddlers) and thanks to their due diligence in scouting a beautiful area and suggesting the colors of our attire, all we had to do was show up! They communicated and coached us during every second of the shoot in order to make every photo as perfect as possible. As we learned taking a great photo isn't always comfortable but the end result is worth it. Based on our amazing experience taking the family portrait we decided to hire Aaron and Marla for our wedding. From the moment we sat down to discuss what we were expecting to capture on our special day to walking down the aisle, communication was clear and concise. Because of this, our photos were the only aspect of our wedding that we did not have to worry about AT ALL! On our big day everything went down exactly as planned, even after a last minute change of venue. We had originally prepared for an outdoor wedding but Texas weather had other plans in mind. Aaron and Marla were able to simultaneously stay invisible and guide us around while shooting the ceremony/reception to ensure they took every photo we requested during our initial meet. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and were all smiles on our wedding day. Words cannot describe how we felt when seeing our photos for the first time. Every single print tells a story that allows us to relive the best parts of our special day. There's something remarkable about seeing all of the beautiful moments which were captured while you're too busy saying I do, and hosting the reception. All in all we could not be more grateful that we had the opportunity to work with these two. Their genuine love of photography makes it impossible to not have fun while capturing moments you and yours will cherish forever. - Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez

Last summer my sister was able to get him as her wedding photographer and this was my first professional experience with Tom. He is very easy-going, but still professional and is able to let your personality shine during the photo-shoot. The staff are also truly wonderful when it comes to attention to detail, whether it's helping you choose an outfit or helping make sure your hair looks good for each picture. I would strongly recommend tomK photography - very affordable, tailors your session to you, and Tom is the best photographer in Dallas!!! :)
