This place is amazing!! The owner is like 92 and still there. All kinds of homemade stuff and a dollhouse that she spent 3 years making! They of course have fruit and some of the best orange juice and key lime pie we have ever had! They also have soft serve ice cream made from the fruit! They have an orange that taste like the old push ups!! We will definitely stop again!! Such a cute lil store and the associate was amazing telling us all about everything in there. They NOW have 6 flavors of SOFT SERVE w 3 TWIST options!!! I can attest the Chocolate /Key Lime twist is delicious, Lemon/ Blueberry was crisp and refreshing. Additionally vanilla / and of course ORANGE! They stock local produce and eggs and seafood from Tampa Bay including clams and blue crabs when the season is good. The service was lovely in this quaint little shop. It is definitely off the beaten path but the ice cream is decent. They had several flavors: orange, vanilla (or swirl), coconut, chocolate (or swirl), blueberry, lemon (or swirl). In our group we tried everything but chocolate. My favorite was orange, my husband's favorite was blueberry, and our teenager swirled together orange, coconut, blueberry, and lemon and said it was great. This little place off the side of the highway is unassuming but well worth the stop. They have food and a bunch of local crafts that could fit most peoples taste. I found out about this place from a friend that brought a gallon of the orange ice cream to a work thing and have been meaning to come ever since. They have fresh squeezed orange juice from November to about may ish. We didn't get any since I didn't need a whole gallon but we got a key lime pie that was made that day and was delicious. It was one of the best I've had outside of key west so Vera keep doing your thing! We also got the soft serve for the key lime and orange and vanilla and really didn't disappoint so much that we got a quart to go. I recently moved to Parrish from Winter Park. Winter Park had a local grove stand at which I would purchase fresh squeezed half gallons of OJ all season long. I drove back to Winter Park a few weeks ago only to find that they were not opening their stand this year. By chance, I Googled similar businesses in the Parrish area. The Citrus Place came up. I promptly visited this business. It is all I could have asked for and much more. Amazing fresh squeezed OJ, soft serve orange and vanilla ice cream, fresh citrus, and much more. I have indulged in their products every day since then, and look forward to my next trip there. I am as happy as a stone crab (they have them too). read more

We stopped in after a couple of walks around the area. It is a small store with some variety of juices, snacks, souvenirs, and soft serve ice cream. There were a couple of combination flavors of soft serve available, to eat immediately or for takeaway offered in a freezer near the register. I'm certain that when we were a huge citrus producing state, and their grove was acres and acres, this was the place to stop and get a bushel of oranges, tangelos and even lemons, but that's not the case today. Citrus is no longer king, so this once very busy citrus souvenir stand isn't terribly busy and doesn't have a lot of citrus, but what they do have is pretty cool! Their ice cream was the big hit of the day, orange and vanilla in a waffle cone was so good. They had samples of orange juice and strawberry orange juice for sale too. You'll find local honey, some craft items made by local residents as well as cheese and meats that represent the Amish in the area. It's got a great big shade tree, and some nice grass if you have a pup, so stop and visit. When I was there it was being run by one single lovely lady. Remember to be patient and kind. read more

Drove to this area from St. Pete Beach, hoping to go to Mixon's Orchard, a long time favorite stop when we would come here when our 3 kids were young. Sad to find they had closed, so did a quick search & found this place. The lone staff member was very friendly & helpful esp when we told her our Mixon's memories. We sampled their OJ & had orange soft serve, then spent a lot on many items to bring back to our now adult kids and also to friends we are visiting soon in Italy. The soft serve & juice weren't as tasty as we remembered Mixon's being, but it didn't matter, because everything else was terrific. Lots of cute bric-a-brac, many items local made, but it was just so fun to visit a place that made us feel as if we were walking back in time. Great way to spent a rainy Florida day! Finding this little store after the disappointment of Mixon's closing made the trip very worthwhile. Our kids (now in their 30s - 40s) were so excited when we shared with them all the goodies we had brought home. read more

Delicious freshly made grapefruit juice and OJ! The OJ is non-pasteurized with a mild amount of pulp and absolutely delicious. I adventured south across the Sunshine Skyway and this was on the Manatee Co side, immediately off the bridge on the left (on the right headed north towards Sunshine Skyway). I tried the orange/vanilla swirl ice cream (yes at 8:30 in the morning) but it was up and running and simply amazing!!! They have samples of the fresh OJ and grapefruit juices and samples out of marmalades and fruit butters. I recommend the honeybell marmalade and guava butter :) Caveat: Bring cash!!! The gal running the store said her credit card machine is supposed to come in the second week of December 2016. All the same, it's nice to support small business and it's a lovely little store I would happily venture to again! read more

Seems ok, sometimes I get some cool stuff, but not always. Usually closed about half the year it seems per the orange harvest. It's not, for me at least, anything to write home about, but it is an out of the way place not run over by tons of people, to stop by occasionally and see if they have something in of interest (merchandise). Great raw Oj. The taste is so fresh and so delicious. The owners are very nice and answered all my questions about their operation. I ignore the trinkets and candy for sales and stick to juice, fruit and ice cream. The shop is on the edge of an orange grove and had a covered picnic area to enjoy your ice cream and look at the trees. read more
