With the foothills of the Dandenongs welcoming tourists by the busload on weekends, it was only a matter of time before the locals stepped it up when it came to good coffee and food.
The Chocolate Dragonfly offers a very 'city' feel at the base of the hills, with friendly service; good coffee and a selection of eat in or take away lunch options.
With city folk hitting the hills and wanting a decent cup of coffee, I recommend the Chocolate Dragonfly for a cup on your way up or down the hill. If it's food your after, you'll see the selection on display revolves around fresh wraps and salad options plus muffins and deserts for the sweeter tooth.
Although the menu doesn't often change much, visitors know that what is served is tried and tested fare favoured by the local regulars. A wrap and salad will hit you back about $8, so for around $10 you'll have a coffee and lunch in your belly, providing enough sustenance to tackle whatever it is your planning to do up in them there hills. read more
