Do not send your child here. On the first day they didn't…read moreeven know who my child was and put her in a class of 3 year olds. When I said something about the end of day report app the director said they do t use it for 3 year olds. I said well she is 2.... The two year old class was clearly too full. The infant class smells terrible. The floor and walls are sticky and drawn on. Director is not welcoming and seems in a rush or irritated by parent interactions with her. Lastly they let someone take my child from the school without checking her Id or if she was even on the list. All of this happened in 3 days. This place is cheap and unorganized. I wish I could get my money back but Tonya hasn't called me back. I want to report this negligence to the state as well on Monday. BEWARE!!!

Key points from my review…read more * Staff is disrespectful to other teachers, parents, and students. I was told Ms. Scales does not know how to run a classroom by the "principal", when I have first hand experience that proves otherwise. * There are only 03 grade levels (Kinder, 1st, and 2nd), but the school tries to keep your money by magically accommodating other grade levels. In other words, the school has "3rd" and "4th" grade students mixed with second graders with a teacher who is not equipped or certified to teach such. Parents should realize the severe setback that can cause for their children. * The school advertises small class sizes, but has 28 in one kindergarten class. * The teachers will dismiss students disrupting the class and will send them to another class (preschool) or make you pick them up. They will refuse to teach your child. * There is a security system that is often times not working, with no one in the office or checking Ids, you are often left with anyone having access to take your child. * I was put in a predicament where we found my six-year-old was left roaming the halls unattended for over 15 minutes. She could have walked out at any point. * On google, many of the positive reviews were "paid" for through raffles of game consoles and free week of tuition. * The staff will physically pick up and move your children even though the "principal" admitted the state will not allow them to touch your children any longer. I would never trust anything any employee here has to say to me. This facility is short staffed and runs sufficiently in clicks and lies. I genuinely believe your child will experience a complete mental setback if you were to send them here. I have since had my daughter at a new school and it has been amazing. There are other options in the area that consistently communicate, are positive, certified, and structured. For the money you pay for this daycare facility, it is not at all worth it. Put your money elsewhere or you will also be paying for therapy. Because unfortunately, all that you have read is only a snip-it of the dissatisfaction and frustration my family has endured. My original review is 1800 words that still could not fully explain how this daycare facility will fail your child. My daughter has blossomed since leaving this school.

The other school "seemed" more modern & had fancy video system (which was good when our daughter was little and couldn't verbally tell us about her day), but truly what i learned was a video doesn't stop a mean/scary teacher in action and you cant rewind. However, the children spot provides lots of picture it didn't have a camera to watch the children at home-- but you're welcomed to come & watch from their office if you ever want to come in (which i never needed to because the disposition of my child was better now) . My child is MUCH happier here & learning more here at the children spot. She does hands on activities, tracing & projects (besides coloring all day long as she seemingly did in the other school). She's in love with her teacher "Ms. Missy" and all the staff. I also love the various discounts they offer for military and educators. I highly recommend this place for any parent due to our amazing experience.

We enrolled…read moreat this location after moving to Mansfield and transferring from the Arlington location, which we liked very much. Many things went wrong at this location over the year or so that we were there. The main issues we dealt with centered around potty training and teacher turnover. I was told when my son moved to the two year old class that the teachers would be helping with potty training and for us to communicate the potty training plan with the teachers. Come to find out, no one in the classroom was helping with potty training, which was one of the reasons he struggled at home to potty train. He moved to the three year old class where we were abruptly told that he had six months to potty train or he would have to be unenrolled. That was very stressful and we did what we could but, again, there was no help at the school with potty trainig. There was one time in particular that I picked my son (3 year old class) and he was covered in wet mud, shoes were wet and muddy, and he had pull up that was absolutely FULL of pee and poop. It was clear that he had been in that pull up for a while. I went in to talk to the director and she had the audacity to blame me for not working on potty training. Also, teachers do not stick around long enough for children to form bonds with them. The teachers when we were there (in the 2, 3, and 4 year old class), lacked experience, knowledge and patience to handle children of that age. My son knew he was being ignored and most likely put down due to the potty training issue, and of course he's a little boy so he acts like a little boy does, which was communicated to me as "behavior issues." The teachers and director were very quick to tell me all of the negative things at pick up each day. I was even told by a teacher in his class that she puts him with another teacher during the day because she can't "handle him". It was really heartbreaking to know that I left my children at a place all day that treated them the way they did. Thankfully we left this location and since we did both of my boys have thrived, grown, and become amazing little people. The "behavior issues" quickly fixed themselves due to being out of such a negative environment. It truly does matter the environment and people that surround your young children every day. Please be cautious when considering this daycare. Unfortunately, it does not let you rate 0 stars.

Even giving one star is me being extremely generous. This daycare is the worst daycare you could…read moreever choose to go to. I don't even know how I lasted almost a year here. First off the teachers here are all extremely lazy, and they get treated so bad here which is probably why nobody cares about doing their job. The management sucks and Berkeley treats her workers like sh** The two year old classroom has had 8 teachers within the past 10 months. That speaks volumes in itself. All never lasting more than a few weeks to a couple months. My 2 year old was also constantly getting rashes due to them not changing my child. Be aware that teachers will talk so bad about other kids in front of you to the other teachers and to certain parents. There's also a teacher there that has pulled on multiple kids and the management couldn't care less. They even let her laugh about it. Since starting here my 4 year old has gotten so behind academically wise. But as far as his teachers they were far more helpful than the 2/3 year old classroom. My son loved Mr. Tyree. I could say wayyy more negative things about this daycare but I'll leave it at this. Without having made bonds with Mrs.T, Mrs.Nicole or Mr.Tyree I most definitely would have left a long time ago. l've been at a new center for only ONE month, and I have noticed a significant change in my children. I'm so glad i finally decided to leave this horrible place that they call a daycare.

When a parent comes to pick up their child, it should be a feeling of comfort and since the change, I don't feel that at all. Ashley made no effort to get to know me or my children. We made the tough decision to transfer our daughter to Children's University to be closer to home…read more I couldn't be happier with the decision. The greatest compliment has been my child saying about her old school, "I'm not returning because I love CU." (Talk about music to our ears when she said that.) CU is a warm, family-oriented environment that caters to the individual child. It provides the academic rigor vital for us, along with a host of enrichment opportunities from robotics and animal husbandry to chess and cheer. During our exploration, what sealed the deal was what we witnessed during our CU tour. We passed a group of children (who appeared close in age to my child) working on a group project in the library. They were discussing their different perspectives and had books that they were referencing. While we knew nothing about the project, I was impressed by how immersed they were in the work, and all appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the educational experience. So many vital skills were underway without them knowing it, which filled us with optimism about our child's future development at CU. Our family couldn't be happier to be part of the CU family. Our daughter is thriving; she has the best, most wonderful teacher. It's a true partnership, and we're beyond grateful. If you're looking for a program for your child, I recommend CU. It's a blend of academic excellence with a curriculum that challenges and inspires, enveloped in the most attentive environment dedicated to helping your child reach their fullest potential.

I don't want to be a teacher but if I were I'd want to be like the ones who shaped my time here. Arlington is already diverse but it was good to see all the different backgrounds my friends were. If you're wondering if your kids will value going here, I am certain they will remember it fondly as CU fostered my love for reading, adventure, and friendship.

TLE Our daughter…read moreattended TLE since an infant, this year was the worst experience we've ever had. This will be a long review, but worth the read if you're interested in your child attending TLE. The toddler classroom is the most unorganized, overpopulated classroom we've encountered in TLE. It started with minor occurrences of scratches, one which left a permanent scar on the top of her nose. A lot deeper than what you'd expect from a toddler. There was also an occurrence where they sent a daily pick of her during nap time and her blanket was covering her face which could result in difficulty breathing. On April 2, 2024, we noticed our daughter had a bite mark on the side of her chin. Full print of a toddlers mouth. When we questioned the staff we were told they were unaware & there was no invent report. On April 4, 2024 we noticed yet another bite once we got home. This time on her left arm and much deeper leaving a bruise on her skin. we called TLE and was informed they were aware yet we were not informed during the day or at pickup and we had to REQUEST an incident form. It was not provided. On April 11,2024 as I was walking into the classroom for pickup, our daughter is crying. I asked the teacher what was wrong and she informed me that she had been bit YET AGAIN. Another deep purple bite mark on the same left arm. At that point since the director, Kristin, is never present in office We proceeded to send a detailed email including pictures of bite marks to make sure she was aware of what was happening while she was absent from the clinic. It was clear that the staff she left in charge had no authorization to move forward with dismissals or proper policy for biters in the classroom. At that point we had been told that it was the same child for each occurrence. All they could do was falsely reassure us that this would not happen again. & no surprise there were 4 more occurrences to come. The following week I was able to catch Kristin in the facility and asked her if she had seen our email. I gave her an opportunity to get caught up on the situation and she agreed. She apologized and stated we were top priority. We never received a response from the email, she never reached out. I then sent a 2nd email, 2 weeks after the first, to state that we were disappointed in the lack of response from her. I recieved a response from staff but not from the director Kristin. During that time I spoke with the co director staying that "biting" is typical toddler behavior. Undermining the fact that this was the 3rd occurrence in 2 weeks and that their staff was not following proper protocol for incident reports, along with the negligence of supervision in the classroom. No one was accepting responsibility or being held accountable. On May 29,2024, we received the last call that Amari had been bitten for the 7th time, through her shirt ON HER CHEST. Same situation with no empathy from the director. We were then told that the other child was in the process of being dismissed and received the most empty apology from the director, Kristin, after I reached out directly to her cell. At the point we had availability to transfer her to another daycare center and unenroll from TLE. This has been the most traumatizing experience for our child and family with a revolving door of teachers in the classroom. There was no stability in the classroom. It got to the point where our daughter was able to tell us the name of child that was biting her. We were given empty promises that the situation would be rectified and it never was. In the week leading up to our daughter's last day we were still not approached by the director. I would NEVER recommend TLE to any other parent/family.

Please don't do it! Lacks nurture and true care for students. The teachers are constantly changing.read more
