The great Humber Nursery on Albion Road closed 5 years ago and there have been a few other players trying to fill their shoes. This is also a very long time nursery in business over 60 years. They also have a loyalty program for purchasers. I don't know how many times I will come this far for purchasing but when I am in the area I feel comfortable buying in such a well run establishment. I bought only two fruit bushes but I saw the condition of other plants and feel confident they are all of very good quality. To start, I was welcomed into a beautiful store for my wedding consultation and encouraged to look around at all the cute and neat items they stock! I felt welcomed and appreciated as soon as I arrived. To start the consultation I gave information on our wedding venue, theme, what flowers I like and what colours I wanted. Jay took notes the entire time and explained how they crate "recipes" within my budget and how they select flowers. I was also able to look at their quarterly magazine with different floral creations to get some inspiration. I left with a great feeling and a box of chocolates! I was provided an incredibly detailed invoice for my wedding which was broken down into bride, bridesmaids etc. They came in under my budget (taxes and delivery included) so you better believe I put down my deposit. When my flowers arrived on my wedding day I was floored. They were the stunning, bright, fall inspired bouquets I was looking for. They incorporated different plants including berries, grasses and something I thought looked like a little cabbage. My mom (who loves flowers) was left awestruck by how beautiful they looked. I cannot recommend Lyric Flowers enough. They were absolutely amazing, incredibly friends and created stunning wedding flowers for my big day.
