Heemans is my favorite garden centre in London! They offer a full nursery of perennials and annuals…read more(in season), lots of pre-assembled planters and hanging baskets, indoor houseplants, a cute pond/display, soil & mulch, a winter tree sitting service, many diy workshops, cute garden decor, containers and other garden tools. They also have strawberries for sale when in season and pick your own in late June, early July. There's a coffee bar serving lots of unique warm beverages and a strawberry ice cream sundae to die for. There's a selection of alcoholic ciders, in-season fruit and veg from their own farm and other local farmers, jarred pickles, jams & honey. Seasonally they also have Fall porch packages, tons of Christmas merchandise including fresh wreaths and foliage, indoor faux trees and so many floral picks for your outdoor planters. Ok -- if it's not clear I go here A LOT! For the perennials and annuals specifically there is a great variety & I have been very impressed with the quality. Their prices are generally better than other specialty garden centres in the London area (though higher than, say, buying at a pop-up at the grocery store). My one complaint is that although recently expanded, their return policy is not as good as some garden centres. I believe the recent policy change on shrubs and other perennials allows to return a dead plant until October of the calendar year of purchase. So say you bought in May and it died in July you could return it. But some other centres allow for return for a full calendar year allowing for the possibility of it dying over the winter. Honestly the only time this becomes a concern for me is when I'm looking at purchasing trees or other items with prices upwards of $100. I love how this family run business is so innovative, quality-focused, and a beautiful space to wander. And did I mention they're dog friendly??? Can't wait until my next trip out!

The staff was super friendly and very helpful and helped me find a few plants that were low maintenance, suited for a southern exposure, and purified the air in my apartment. They had a huge selection and I ended up finding 3 beautiful plants and a small tree. They also have a very large selection of pots that were reasonably priced, which I picked up too. Overall what a wonderful experience; I am very happy with my purchases and look forward to visiting again!

I felt welcomed and appreciated as soon as I arrived. To start the consultation I gave information on our wedding venue, theme, what flowers I like and what colours I wanted. Jay took notes the entire time and explained how they crate "recipes" within my budget and how they select flowers. I was also able to look at their quarterly magazine with different floral creations to get some inspiration. I left with a great feeling and a box of chocolates! I was provided an incredibly detailed invoice for my wedding which was broken down into bride, bridesmaids etc. They came in under my budget (taxes and delivery included) so you better believe I put down my deposit. When my flowers arrived on my wedding day I was floored. They were the stunning, bright, fall inspired bouquets I was looking for. They incorporated different plants including berries, grasses and something I thought looked like a little cabbage. My mom (who loves flowers) was left awestruck by how beautiful they looked. I cannot recommend Lyric Flowers enough. They were absolutely amazing, incredibly friends and created stunning wedding flowers for my big day.
