Since I parked on the street I ended up walking right past Oh So Sweet on my way back to the car. I was craving something sweet so figured why not check it out. Coming is it smells heavenly it's reminded me of my childhood with many of the candies I haven't seen in years on display. In Addition to candy they have cupcakes and snowballs. I only browsed a few minutes before deciding on a snowball. The nice young man behind the counter was very helpful in recommending the popular flavors. Looks like the hours are rather strange. I recommend looking online before you make the drive down. They were only open until 6pm on the day i went and I was lucky to arrive a little after 5 to be able to Check them out.

This is my "go to" store when I want to indulge :-) This shoppe's selection is so broad and wide ranging -- I have tasted so many delights that are so unique, I've never tasted them before... And these are in addition to the more familiar but interestingly crafted wide range of exceptionally high quality candies, sweets & nut delicacies, including delicious chocolate variations. You will likely want to spend some time exploring all the various offerings and will most certainly be surprised to discover delights you did not know of before. The owner makes sure she offers variations in the flavorings of particular candies to appeal to a range of tastes. My most recent discovery had been the malted balls. She offers both milk chocolate and dark chocolate varieties -- I am a dark chocolate fan and I love them... And I assure you -- you have never tasted malted balls with this kind of taste, texture and quality as those offered in this store. There are even delicious sugar-free offerings of various candies as well. The owner roasts the peanuts herself with a high quality roasting machine that I wouldn't be surprised to learn is well over 1/2 century old - so creating the very original flavoring and historical quality of roasted peanuts. None of the "fast-track" short-comings - Only just super high quality. I particularly love the peanuts when they are fresh out of the roaster. My partner was understandably embarrassed receiving this arrangement in front of her coworkers, as its condition gave the impression that little thought or effort had been put into the gift. I visited for the 1st time 2 weeks ago, and I have been at least 4-5 times already. I love how fresh the food is on the hot deli bar, and I am so thankful that it's behind protective glass for an employee to gather and present instead of it being in an open area, etc. Although the cashiers are normally less than excited to see any customer, they work fast, and efficient. It works for me. I will surely continue to support this market and recommend to friends and family.
