From the proper way to shake hands to being a professional at the office, SueAnn is a wonderful teacher. As someone who worked in human resources for over a decade, I expected to be more knowledgeable about the office section but SueAnn's content surprised me. She even had tips about working remotely and the use of mobile devices in both personal and professional settings. The curriculum is strong, and they are pretty much rounded with other extracurricular activities, too, unlike other schools, which do not entertain that. My only complaint is I wish they had a high school. When my son moved to high school, even though he had completed the basic levels of certain subjects in Valley Academy, he couldn't take the advanced level because the new high school didn't recognize the levels at Valley Academy since they don't have a high school. That's a huge bummer

The school is also on the smaller side. i just read a news article about a student in 2nd grade who was locked in a rubber room like a…read moremental patient because they (the school staff) decided that his sugar allergies reported by his mother had nothing to do with his behavior. i'm just wondering where the school staff got their medical degree. i am more than mad right now. they not only need to be sued, the teacher need to lose their job, the board needs to be replaced because they allowed this to go on. the school had to purchase this, and i'm sure the school staff didn't pay for it. it had to be approved by the board. this is an outrage. i would have their heads if this was my son and i hope the mother is allowed to drag them through the mud. they deserve worse than what they'll get i'm sure. if anyone enrolls their child in this district after knowing they do things like this for punishment you are irresponsible. this happened at desert sage elementary school. shame on all involved. i hope you never work with kids again. you don't deserve to. i hope this makes it to the appropriate people. this is an outrage.
