Looked in the shop and they had a pair of ski pants I just loved, but not in my size. I appreciated that they made the right call on sizing and didn't try to put me in something too big. A year passes and I'm still looking (OK, didn't try much in the meanwhile). Turns out their Peak Performance gear is what I need, and you can't get it in the States (I'm from Seattle, Washington). I call them up, they have the right size, it's on sale, and they're willing to ship to me over the border (nobody else would). These folks are wonderful. Be sure to stop by if you're in the area!

The heel-locking mechanism was faulty, which was by no means on them. What was their fault though was subsequently mocking my understanding of gear/skiing and only finally sheepishly relenting on the replacement when I insisted they try for themselves to lock/unlock the heel and they were incapable of doing so. Their "satisfaction guarantee" is about as flimsy as the calibre of their customer service. I regret not asking around before providing Attridge's with my business, given the abundance of other fantastic local options in Vernon. Chatting with locals, I hear the store has apparently gone very downhill since management changed a number of years ago. Suffice to say, I'll not be going back. Would score it lower on the star-rating scale but sadly the option isn't available.

Was here for CMH heli skiing and had two amazing meals at the 112…read more First night was a lentil soup, crab cake, spiced duck breast and deconstructed key lime pie. Everything excellent. Duck was perfectly medium rare and tender. Partner had beef tenderloin also medium rare and declared it perfect. He's a picky beef eater so this was a rare compliment. Second night had a seared scallop appetizer, supreme chicken and sticky toffee pudding. Partner had a beef tenderloin pasta with brocollini and blue cheese. Again everything was perfectly prepared. Scallop was not overcooked. Chicken was moist and partners beef was also tender. Both nights I was impressed with the chef's attention to the vegetables which were plentiful and crisp tender. Sauces were balanced and not overly seasoned. Food came out hot despite full restaurant. Service was prompt and attentive. Definitely the most 'fine' dining atmosphere that I saw and experienced in Revelstoke. Will be back next year!
