Welcoming staff with helpful attitude! Plenty of parking and located conveniently by the highway. We arrived Revelstoke earlier than expected and not knowing the area we dropped by our hotel for some directions and recommendations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and was willing to check us in early (9:30am)! We kindly declined but that was a very kind and understanding gesture. Got some recommendations of what to do and off we went about for our day. We returned later at around 4:30pm to check in and our room was ready. This is an older building and it shows but clean room and well equipped. There are 2 hot tubs in the building and a lovely lobby as well as restaurant. Unfortunately did not use any of the facilities as we were over exhausted so can't comment on it. We had a restful stay with beautiful view. ** My eldest forgot her sonicare toothbrush in the hotel room, we returned a week later on our way back and the staff was kind enough to kept and return it to her, we did not call in advanced as we expected it to be gone but staff took their time and looked for it, better yet found it for her.

Late riser breakfast (from lunch menu) and fish in chips in the back! Highly recommend the fresh fruit over the side of potato wedges.

Only good things to say about this hotel. Room was spacious (even more so than expected), bed was comfortable, view from the room was pristine. Even the fruit infused water in the lobby was amazing. Our stay was so comfortable that... my group overslept our breakfast plans! We decided to pop by the hotel's restaurant instead and had to go with the lunch menu (which starts at 11am)... but it had a "Late Riser" breakfast plate option - it was delicious! We also got the fish and chips - super good! Maybe it was since we were the first lunch orders, but we could tell the oil used for frying was fresh. Our sever, Anne, had a wonderfully refreshing personality and gave us great tips on what was going on in the Alberta region! Finally, amenities were available and in good condition and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel in the mountains in the outside of the town. The drive to town is only 5-10 mins. Rooms are good and views are nice. In the summer there's not much going on in the town so we didn't mind staying a little further and enjoying the views.

This hotel was great! I decided to take the long weekend over Christmas and do a ski vacation in Revelstoke. This hotel was in my price range (I used my AAA discount) and close to the resort. To start, it was very lodgey. It had a nice common area with a big fireplace and cozy chairs. The hot tub was just outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. There was another hot tub downstairs with a steam room. The road to the hotel was exactly a half mile long, which worked out perfectly for my runs. The food was decent - they served us Christmas night which was nice, because the town shut down. The heli-skiing operation is in the basement, which was super conveneient. Also, there's a shuttle that runs from the hotel to the resort if you don't feel like driving. The hotel is as close to the resort as the hotels in town, but it's much much more cozy. This hotel is very pet friendly. I left my dog (a friendly yellow lab) in my room while I skiied. They let the dogs in the common areas as long as they are well behaved, so he can come sit by the fire or join you on the deck at the hottub. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. They worked to get us an extra spot for heli-skiing, they pointed us to some excellent resturaunts in town, and were overall just nice people.

Stayed here for one night. The hotel was very nice! The location is very quiet and pretty. The room was clean and in a very good condition, and the view was awesome. The hotel has hot tubs inside and out, s sauna, a small fitness room, free wifi, a lounge and a restaurant (which was quite good). The room was huge and had a make-up station, a big shower, two beds, a fridge, a safe, a desk, two chairs, a tv and air-conditioning. The soaps were 'Leaping Bunny'-marked which Means that they are not animal-tested (a huge plus!). The service was great, and the staff was very friendly! All in all it is a very nice hotel, and I would stay here Again - no doubt!

The best eggs Benedict I've ever eaten in my entire life. Not the last time I've eaten this for sure

A few minutes of driving east or west are all the gas stations and restaurants which make this ideal. Although I would have preferred walking distance. Quickly checked in and we were given rooms on the second floor. The rooms with two queen beds was large enough for all of us travelling . The beds comfortable. The TV good size and lots of channels. The wi-fi was strong throughout our stay. The bathroom is dated and a let down. Compact shower stall and amenities were OK. I guess you get what you pay for. Nothing outwardly wrong, I hoped that would have put the same effort in the bathroom as in the room. The building is old which explains a lot. Not a bad place for a night stopover

The WiFi was fine while we were there, though you do have to sign back in from time to time. The mini-fridge and microwave were convenient. There is a coffee maker in the room but do yourself a favor and buy your own coffee from the market across the street. Great location in downtown. No need to drive to find a place to eat or do some shopping. The front desk guy was super nice, and gave us lots of recommendations. Amenities: free parking, free passes to the aquatic center a few blocks away, and you can get picked up on the shuttle to the Kelowna airport at the front desk.

Stoke Hotel is part of the Best Western group but it is not quite the same. It is basically an old…read moremotel that was converted or kind of renovated. It is located right beside Best Western Plus but it is not exactly the same level. Like all Best Western hotels, they include a free breakfast. Don't have high expectations of the breakfast here. Both days that we stayed here, we were not served any meat. The food was kind of meh. I do like playing with the waffle machine but that doesn't mean I like eating their waffles. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The stay was around $200 a night. The location isn't bad either. There are free parking on site. Staff were friendly. Nothing too wow.

Do not expect anything fancy here. It's under the SureStay brand by Best Western (BW), not Best…read moreWestern Plus which is confusingly located next to it. So this is Stoke Hotel under BW but it looks like an old hotel or motel converted. The room is small but clean. For a couple of nights, this is fine. Plus the price is definitely "cheaper" than many other hotels nearby. Around $180+ tax/night when we were here in September. BW Plus would be $230 or more in the same time period and other places can get to $300 and up. Just to give context to pricing during the shoulder season. They provide LaCoupe toiletries which I like. Earplugs too. Maybe for the train? I didn't hear it over the sound of the AC. The room is basic with things you need. A microwave, small fridge, luggage rack and a blind for the window to block the Sun and for privacy from people from walking past. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are hit and miss. Some are harder like an inflatable and others are softer. The only thing I don't like is the sink in the bathroom. It is so low that I have to bend over to brush my teeth. The hot tub is actually pretty nice. I used it in the morning when it's not so busy. At night it's really dark and insects come out to play. Breakfast is included. Unfortunately it is not as good as BW Plus. For the two mornings we were there, only eggs were part of the protein spread. No bacon or sausage at all. The BW waffle was also not that nice compared to when I had it at other BW Plus. The hash browns were terrible. The highlight was the jams and spreads for the toast and muffin. I like the variety as there were cream cheese and Nutella besides fruit jams and peanut butter. There were fruits, cereals, muffins, banana bread (this disappeared quickly and not replenished) and yogurt. Bottom line: Good basic place to stay if you're on a budget. Just don't expect more. Free parking is also a plus. And free wifi too. Location is also good as it's just after the bridge into Revelstoke and it is surrounded by many fast food chains and gas stations. Convenient to walk there if you don't want to drive.
