THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I visited this winery on a biking tour through Bordeaux and this was the first stop. Right bank Bordeaux reds are generally merlot based and they have a more smokey finish to them. Pretty small tasting room but they make it up with their delicious wines. They also feature a female winemaker! Overall tasting included 2 wines from 20219 and 2020. Very distinguishable between each vintage which is why wine is so beautiful. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Beautiful views on a nice property right off the road. Wines average around $30-$70 euros which is a pretty good deal when compared to buying grand crus in the US.

They also had a very cool escape room that was probably a little bit too difficult for us given we have kids but it was so much fun nevertheless and Fred gave us all the kids. He included a wonderful wine tasting charm with the experience and really helped us understand how the taste wines in further depth. He was just excellent. This is a good family friendly staff. the wine is not the very best but the staff is A++.

They offered us tastes of at least 8 different things for free. They specialize in smaller, family-run wineries from the St. Emilion region. This is a great place to learn about the wines of this region and buy some things you would otherwise never find in the big stores. They have wines at all prices!

We were welcomed with a tour of the lovely grounds and a tasting of a number of their vintages, and stayed in an adorable room in the historic house. In the morning, they lay out a very nice continental breakfast and you can chat with your fellow guests while planning out your wine country activities for the day. I highly recommend this chateau and their delicious wines (the 2010 and 2012 are particularly good).

They have a lot of organic and vegan items on offer including fresh produce. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we have been here a few times to get things. Prices are also reasonable and comparable to many organic shops in the wider areas. If you want something they don't have they would also order it for you.
