Zeeyum Kitchen - The Meze Plate and a very tasty bottle of Turkish wine.

Everything was superb…read more I was not familiar with Turkish cuisine at all and our server spent all the time we needed to select our food. I will definitely be back. Can't wait. Prices are very reasonable!

My friend Michael and I were meeting for dinner to celebrate our birthdays. It was in November, but…read moreyou know how it goes! LOL. Anyway, we were happy to finally get together in January, and knowing that I was way overdue for another Yelp review, we decided to pick something new for me to critique, so we decided based on some recommendations I saw online, to try Zeeyum Kitchen. Zeeyum Kitchen is located in a big shopping center on Market Street with plenty of parking. It's curb appeal was limited and a little hard to spot but I didn't care as long as the meal delivered. I would have to say the same about the inside. It was pleasant enough but nothing particularly inviting or welcoming. We were promptly seated and warmly welcomed and asked if we wanted something to drink. I decided to start off with my Diet Coke and was disappointed when she showed up with a can. No glass, no ice, and no refills. Ugh! The menu was kind of limited but filled with traditional favorites. I thought it was a little bit on the expensive side considering the atmosphere, etc. but nothing is cheap anymore. I had had a big lunch so I decided to go with the falafel salad. Although the menu mentioned all kinds of ingredients in the salad, it looked to me like mine was basically spinach and falafel. I was disappointed. Michael ordered the chicken and rice and vegetables and said it was tasty. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. We had a lot to catch up on and sat there for over 2 and 1/2 hours and I appreciated that the wait staff was happy to have us stay and enjoy our conversation. Maybe we would have wanted coffee or dessert but no one never asked. I don't mean to knock Zeeyum Kitchen, and I wish them the best of luck, but I will not be back. The quality and portion of my salad cannot compare to Odeh's or the hearty, well-priced meal at Nazareth Bread. I've also enjoyed Sarah's Kebab shop and Mykonos. Zeeyum Kitchen unfortunately is at the bottom of the list for me.

Savoury Eats Kitchen is a gem and the perfect complement to Hidden Gate Brewing right next door…read more The setup could not be better. Amazing beer inside the brewery and this eclectic, flavor-packed menu just steps away. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The chimichurri steak frites, tuna poke nachos, and onion rings were all bursting with fresh, creative flavors. It's rare to say that one dish after another keeps topping the last, but that's exactly what happened here. The owner clearly knows his craft and it shows in every bite. As of this review, they're temporarily closed until approximately November 1, 2025, but I cannot wait for them to reopen. When they do, this will absolutely be a go to spot for food that matches the energy and fun of Hidden Gate Brewing.

I stopped by here around 4:15pm on a Saturday to grab a bite to eat while my car was having work…read moredone in the area. I wanted to try somewhere new and this popped up! It's a food truck that's in partnership with the Hidden Gate Brewing. My order was placed at 4:16pm for honey garlic wings with truffle fries. I was given a buzzer to alert me when my food was ready. The buzzer went off at 4:25pm. I was given a side of the honey garlic sauce since I didn't get ranch or blue cheese. I also asked for cheese on top of my fries. Staff were helpful and great! I sat at a table to enjoy my food. The wings were perfectly cooked and I I enjoyed the fries. I even dipped them in the honey garlic sauce. For me, the sauce was more honey than garlic, which I didn't like. I would've preferred the opposite, if a balance between the two wasn't achievable. 9 piece wings and fries for under $14? That's a steal! I highly recommend them. I plan to return and I'd like to try a different wing flavor and/or another menu items. Several menu items piqued my interest. Apparently, this place is a favorite with some of my friends as well! As I'm doing this review, I'm wanting dessert. I definitely want to try the beignets.
