I am so disappointed after looking forward to my first class. Not only was the instructor helping multiple classes, but also did not have all the necessary supplies for the project. In addition, due to the layout of the studio customers from another class blocked the view of people trying to attend a class. Very unprofessional and not worth the money. read more

We did the curbside pick up due to COVID-19. The store employee told us it would be about 15-20 minutes after we submitted our order before we could pick it up. We left the house and texted to let them know we had arrived. They told us it would be another 20 minutes. Our order went through at 11:55a and we arrived at 12:38p. It was 1:10p before they finally brought our kit out to us. Not only did we have to wait an exceptionally long time, outside in the car, they also forgot to include pictures of the finished paintings for reference and the painting instructions. They emailed us the instructions and reference photos, but it's hard to see anything on my tiny phone screen... I'm not entirely sure why we keep going back to this place... Maybe the 3rd time really is the charm? UPDATE: Hours have passed since we were promised emailed reference photos and instructions. Employee confirmed that the email was sent. Still waiting for the email... About ready to just ask for our money back. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this business. I had created some small plates that I was going to use for a luncheon and then give them to each of my guests as a memento so they would look at them and remember what a nice day we had. This did NOT happen. I needed to get them glazed (my regular studio was not available at the time). Jessica agreed to fire them for me in her kiln. I was grateful and relieved that I would have these back on time. They each had a large sunflower on them. I painstakingly painted in each of the sunflower seeds which are very tiny. While there, I looked at ONE plate and thought I should have added more seeds. Jessica offered to do this for me - ON ONE PLATE ONLY. I agreed on ONE PLATE ONLY thinking that if I didn't like it, I made extras so I would have a backup. The day before my luncheon, I received a call that my plates were ready. When I picked them up - I came close to going into shock! She had added HUGE BLACK DOTS on EACH plate! -Not just the one but all of them! They were a disaster! Ugliest things I had ever seen. All I could say was, "You did this to all of them!" She was pleased that she had done that. She obviously has no concept of what a sunflower seed looks like. I also asked her before firing what cone she fired to. She said cone 6. NOT 06, but 6. I even took my glaze in and showed her that they needed to be fired to cone 6. She assured me that they would be. They weren't. She also obviously has no concept of the different cones. I ended up throwing the plates away. I always take pictures of my works in progress and have attached pictures below. The one on the left is what I submitted and the one on the right is the piece of crap I got back. It's not even the worst one. As you can see, she added these huge black dots and on a few, she even overlapped the flower petals. She claims to be a 3rd generation artist. Maybe so. But she lacks training and skill at this point. She also has some poured ceramics you can purchase and glaze yourself. She told me her grandmother pours ALL of the ceramics in her shop. Before the plate debacle, I purchased a gnome with a Christmas tree for a hat. As I was glazing it, I saw some faint red printing on the bottom. Thinking it must be her grandmother's makers mark I took a close look. It says MADE IN CHINA! So unless her grandmother is doing all this pouring in China, Jessica is very much mistaken. She needs to take some pottery classes and learn the correct terminology for this craft as well as the difference between cones. Although I did give her permission to alter ONE plate, she also needs to know to not take it upon herself and to NEVER alter another artists work. i have not seen what her other skills are, but she is seriously lacking in pottery. Unless you want to take a chance of being disappointed - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU NOT DO BUSINESS THERE. read more
