Bath Bridge built 1832 for $3,500, Longest in NH

http://www.thebrickstore.com/ Gets five stars for having a beautiful covered bridge right out the back door. It's supposedly the oldest in continuous operation general store in the U.S. The front is a big porchy area with chairs and bulletin boards filled with local flyers, etc. I picked up a bottle of Good & Evil Hot Sauce while there. They sell all kinds of random stuff from fudge to overalls as a general store worth its salt should. There're some counters set up museum-like to give you an idea of what was on sale a century or two ago. The man behind the counter was jolly and talkative. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

What a wonderful place. A little out of the way but worth it. Bridge is right by the store both are worth a visit.

We were looking at Fall Colors and our GPS took us by the shortest route to somewhere, and I saw the covered bridge.

Got the waffle bites too, the texture was awesome, crunchy and soft with cinnamon and sugar. It's not fancy, but it's neat and tidy with a vintage feel to it. Don't hold it against them for wait times, they are literally a trailer by a field (with picnic tables). If you are in a hurry, you can order ahead. Including tip, it was under $30 to have a picnic breakfast. Definitely recommend.

And my husband was very happy with his chicken tender wrap. If you were like us and drove by many times..... do yourself a favor and stop. My husbands exact words as we walked away "so... go back for dinner?". Honestly we could; and would still probably spend less money than had we gone anywhere else on a single visit. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and honest if you're in town and hungry, you need to stop in. The breakfast options look so good. I absolutely will be back. I feel like I need to try all of it now.

Bavarian pretzel sticks - 8/10 Very well baked pretzels, quite tasty. Good amount of salt. My only complaint that keeps this from being a 10/10 would be that they didn't have a very good sauce to go with it, granted, I've never liked beer cheese. Got some honey mustard on the side too but wasn't too great. Loaded croquettes - 6.5/10 I've had my fair share of absolutely delicious croquettes, so understandable these weren't the best things I've ever had, but they were still pretty decent. Maybe a little lacking in depth of flavor, just tasted potatoey and very fried. I wouldn't get these again. Fire fries - 10/10 WOW. Absolutely delicious. Genuinely some of the best loaded fries I have ever had. GET THESE. The Buffalo sauce is great, and the fry on the chicken tenders is amazing, and it's paired very well with the cheese and onions on top the fries. Genuinely superb. French dip - 6/10 This was more of a cheesesteak with au jus sauce on the side rather than a proper French dip. Mediocre, though granted, I was also full by this point. I don't think I'd get this again here. Overall, GET THE FIRE FRIES, SO SO SO GOOD!!! And the Bavarian pretzels too if you like a good warm pretzel stick!

I ordered the daily 'special' and my friend ordered a chicken finger basket. After waiting almost an hour for the food to arrive, my 'special' was served to me on what seemd to be a dirty plate and was a very small portion (Korean Steak Tacos) with literally nothing else on the plate. There was nothing 'special' about the dish other than the price. The chicken finger basket was fine. Frozen chicken and frozen fries zapped in a microwave. This place is a tourist trap, way over priced and the service staff seem to be unclean and not well trained.
