Went to the brick today looking for Samsung stackable washer and dryer. The price for each piece was $744.00 if I bought extended warranty. If not price was &1690.00 for both. Extended warranty was $269.00. Do the math. Add delivery and installation and removal of old appliance plus new hoses and dryer vent hose plus tax, plus if you want to put it on a plan &199.99, total was just &over &2600.00. I went to Home Depot later that afternoon. Same units, same installation kit, removal of old appliances and installation total&1850.00. What are your sales people doing at your store in Niagara Falls. Will never go back there. And rating the experience, you don't have a rating low enough. We stopped in to this store for about 20 minutes while we were on a wait to get into the Mandarin Restaurant next door. The Brick offers a variety of beautiful furniture and furniture sets to choose from. One of the couches in here was oversized and had huge soft fluffy pillows, perfect for relaxing with the family and large dog i.e., Grate Dane or Rottweiler. They were also selling this sweet karaoke kit with built-in turntables which looked pretty cool. The staff were really friendly and we shared some nice conversation while we were there. If we lived in the area we would definitely return to pick out some furniture. read more

I ORDERED and PAID for A NEW REFRIGERATOR ON JULY 31ST, was told it would be delivered within 2 weeks, tomorrow is 3 WEEKS, ONLY ONE PHONE CALL from them, giving yet another excuse, tried to call store several times only get automated voice no person, just into an endless loop, go visit the website still no reply or answer. 2025 we recently bought a big screen tv, when we got home with it, the picture quality was terrible. We tried to take it back and they said we couldn't return it because we opened the box???? WHAT????? Now we are stuck with a bad quality tv. Staff was very nice when selling us the tv but after they were very rude. Though the sales lady was friendly and polite, she did not seem to know much about what she was doing, which required us to be extremely patient and tolerant of her inexperience and lack of knowledge about the products in the store and the various payment options. Since the fridge and stove we wanted from searching the online site were not on display, we had to search ourselves to find a similar fridge with the drop down shelf since she had no idea what I was talking about. Then she couldn't find a stove that had similar features either. We had to find one on our own. Which was easy enough, but she should know her stores products. Then when we decided to close the sale she gave us very confusing and false information. At first she said we could pay for our tv, fridge and stove using Flexiti 0% financing and get 4% of our net purchase price back and use that discount to pay for a recliner we were interested in, all in this same visit. She did not explain what Flexiti was. We thought it was a Brick rebate, but it turned out to be an application for a digital credit card. This was very confusing as we had to fill out a form which I later found out was an application and then wait for an email to get the digital credit card number to give to her. She then told us it was a credit company, but that it has no interest rate and we could use it anywhere. She put through our sale and then told us we would have to wait for an email to register our account and then we'd get the rebate. So we couldn't actually use the rebate right away on the recliner like she claimed. But said they were having a VIP sale the following week and we could use the rebate on an even more reduced price on the recliner then. So we accepted the changed information. We were able to then pay the Flexiti balance in the store. She then showed me a sign to scan a QR code to have a chance to win my purchase but it brought me to a google review site and I had to quickly give a review in the middle of cashing out. So I just wrote something quick and gave 4 stars. So don't believe those reviews! Four days later we got an email from Flexiti reminding us to register our account. It said the interest rate was 31%, not zero like she had claimed. I decided to call the Brick to get more information about how this Flexiti worked. After speaking with the first clerk who didn't seem to know how to answer my questions, I requested to speak to someone who understood more about how Flexiti worked. She wasn't willing at first but I insisted. The next clerk told me that I would get the 4% rebate email in 2-3 weeks after registering. It would be added to my flexiti account. I told her orignal sales lady had told us we could use it next week at the VIP sale. She then put me on hold for 10 minutes to speak with her manager. She came back to tell me that Flexiti pays out the 4% rebate four times a year, and the next payout was in October! I was furious. The only reason we accepted doing the "Flexiti 0% finance thing" instead of paying cash, was because she told us we could get 4% off the recliner that same visit, then we're told can't, but we'd have it in time for their VIP sale the next week, then to find out we don't get it until October!! I didn't want this Flexiti online credit account in the first place. I felt tricked and misled. They said they would let the sales lady know how the Flexiti financing and rebate really worked. I feel that the management at this Brick location obviously doesn't train their staff properly. I'm very angry about the whole experience. I just assumed I was being told the truth, but clearly they only care about making the sale, they make false and misleading promises. Buyer beware I guess. So I went to my previous review and changed the quickly type words and 4 star rating to this. The next day or two, I get a call from the Manager about the review asking what he could do to make sure this didn't happen to anyone else. I said to train his staff better. He told me that if I came in for their VIP sale the following week and asked for him he would see what he could do if I was still interested in the recliner. Nice gesture. So I thought I'd add that to my review and give them an extra star.. But wait, there's more.. The original sales lady told us the fridge and stove we ordered had to come from the manufactuer and would arrive in about 4 weeks. Three weeks later I called to verify that the applicances would be in the following week. Now I'm told they will take longer. An extra week for the stove and a whopping whole extra month for the fridge!! That's 2 months from the date of purchase! I asked her if we were just going to get told the delivery date was gonna get changed again and again in the future but she claimed it's all on the manufacterer and has nothing to do with them. Again, so angry with this store. So sorry we even decided to deal with them at this point. Back down to 1 star. We should have just ordered from online. read more

The Brick has to be the worst furniture store in Canada. Absolute garbage customer service. You better hope you receive a decent piece of furniture, or you'll be stuck with an expensive POS that you cannot return or even exchange for a lesser POS! read more

We had a fridge delivered today. Neither one of the delivery guys wore masks. They simply put the fridge in the middle of the kitchen and left. If my husband wasn't here to finish the job, I don't know what I would have done. An elderly person would not have been able to finish the job themselves. The delivery guys took the old fridge out and just left. They didn't tell us that they were leaving, They left garbage (styrofoam and packaging) in our driveway. When my husband called the store to complain, the person on the phone said the delivery people don't work for The Brick. Really? Didn't they hire the company to deliver their goods? Then obviously they work for them. Poor service. Unacceptable. We'll never deal with the Brick again. read more

Very disappointed in the Niagara Falls ON store. Purchased furniture there November 15, 2020 and just received our 4th call delaying the delivery. (Now end of May) I spoke to the manager and he said there is nothing they can do to compensate for the inconvenience. Covid has become the biggest excuse for poor customer service and the scapegoat for managers like this who can hide behind the locked doors of the stores. read more

Under no circumstances should one ever purchase the insurance plan offered with your purchase. These people DO NOT CARE and will NOT repair your furniture. Although in the beginning they finally did uphold some of their responsibility they have now proven to be horrible. We have called dozens of times, have been promised many things, but cannot get resolution to our problems. My only recourse will be to load the broken furniture onto my pickup and attend the front of the store on boxing day week. Maybe that will get their attention. read more
