If I can give a ZERO star, I will. This is a very horrible store with horrible management. They are so unprofessional - does not live to what they sell and a bunch of liars and RUDE people. I have paid for delivery and my delivery was not coming and followed up only to get the news that I have to pick up my furniture at the warehouse. ??? Then after trying to talk to a bunch of rude managers, they delivered my furniture in increments - meaning I have to be at home each time they want to deliver. We also have jobs to go to you know. Then upon receipt of the bed - they delivered only 1 boxspring (they talked us into getting 2 boxspring instead of one as they were out of stock) but they delivered only 1. the other one will come in 2 weeks. GREAT! then the delivery people broke the feet of my dresser and says that they did not. It was totally leaning on the side and the wood is broken! Then the sofa they delivered after a week after the bed - was a returned item that was broken and stepped on by staff. Says it is not broken but it clearly shows that the screws are not in and it was already assembled. A returned item! How do I know? My son's sofa which is exactly the same was delivered in a box and they assembled it themselves. Mine was assembled - with missing screws and was stepped on by a crew with the clear imprints of the shoes on the sofa and the pull out sofa does not come out smoothly. Now I can confirm that it was missing screws like what I told them before. Had to reach out to the headquarters who also are a bunch unprofessionals as they NEVER helped nor acknowledge our concerns and complaints. Now, where are the good reviews coming from? read more

Don't shop here! I bought a $2200 Italian Leather sofa 10 months ago that looks like it's 10 years old. I had bought the warranty and instead of replacing the couch they want to fix it. It's padding is uneven, it has something sticking up in the arm and it's separating in between the seams. It looks like garbage not a couch worth $2200.00. When I called the general manager was speaking down to me and was providing horrible customer service. I would highly recommend finding another brick to shop at or another store altogether. This is not the first experience like this at the brick and the customer service is truly lacking. read more

Honestly one star is far too much. We will NEVER shop at the Brick again...ever. We ordered a couch on October 27th, 2019 in the store. We waited for delivery, and was then delivered the wrong couch on November 13th. We told the drivers/delivery people that it was the wrong couch, we were told to contact the store. Called the store immediately and got an email in return stating that the new couch would be in the first week of December and we would get a call. Called yesterday, December 7th, at 11:00am as we hadn't heard anything. I was told that unfortunately we would not be receiving the correct couch for at least 10 days longer. I said that was unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager. I was on hold for over 45 minutes. First I was told that the manager, Ali, was on the floor and was being paged. Miraculously, the customer service rep did come back on the line and said that they had found the right couch and it will be delivered this coming Tuesday. Interesting how the right couch can be found once I ask to speak to the manager. Still not happy with what transpired, I requested to still speak to Ali please. After another long wait I then was told he was on a closed door 'conference call' and could not be interrupted. I suggested that maybe a concerned customer might be more important than a conference call. I was asked to leave contact information for a call back that day, and I did. 5:00pm...no call back. I called again. Asked to speak to Ali, and was told he was being paged. After being on hold and then the line ringing so many times it disconnected, I called back...15 times...15 times!!!... until the call was answered again. When I spoke to someone it was after 6pm and Ali had conveniently gone home, with no call back as promised. I then asked to speak to the manager in charge after Ali's departure. Spoke to Ajay Pal, and expressed my concerns. He deflected and defended. Tried to explain the background on how ordering works to attempt to show why the right couch can magically appear in three days rather than at least 10 more days. It is irrelevant how their 'system' works, this should never have happened in the first place and when it did, it should have been rectified immediately. It wasn't, and it's appalling to us that when they say something is going to happen, it doesn't. Repeatedly. I couldn't even get a call back as promised. Disgusting customer service. I asked Ajay for the person that Ali reports to (Ajay reports to Ali) and was told that would be the 'corporate office'. I asked for a contact name and number and was provided with neither. Horrible experience. Should not have happened, and won't be happening again as we will never shop at the Brick. read more

TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE customer service and an unwillingness to help the customer. My wife and I went shopping and purchased all the furniture for our new house in October with the guarantee from our salesmen that everything would be delivered Dec 4th( the day we moved in so we had furniture and a place to sleep)We went the first week in our new home without a bed and my wife and I slept on the floor, we were told the remaining furniture would be delivered mid Dec, it is the end of Dec now and we are now being told it could be Mid Feb before we see the furniture and how can we trust that? We paid in full for all our furniture in mid Oct and are still sitting here without it. They have ruined our experience of buying a new home and the excitement that goes along with it. Please if you are looking for furniture go somewhere else!!! One star is still too many, there should be a zero star or negative rating. read more

We purchased a kitchen set at The Brick in Edmonton, a buffet/counter table and some corresponding coffee tables we thought looked nice and appeared to be of good quality. We also were strongly encouraged to purchase the "5 Year Blanket Coverage" warranty and the "Master Surface Coverage" plan. Within the warranty period, all the "leather" (fake leather) came apart, split and cracked. The table showed a LOT of wear and tear, and had places with the "solid wood table" we bought, had laminate that was peeling away from sides and chipping off the corners. We were literally told that "we could always sand and re-stain the table" if wear and tear became an issue for appearance but if we were otherwise still happy with the furniture. Impossible to do that with laminated furniture. BRUTAL. Here is what ALL our chairs look like: https://i.imgur.com/LD3VNlE.png The entire set has been disappointing and now The Brick is failing to honour the warranty, saying that this deterioration is "normal wear and tear" -if The Brick in Edmonton considers this "normal wear and tear" to dishonour the warranty, then either The Brick in Edmonton sells garbage furniture, or The Brick in Edmonton sells warranty that is not worth the paper it is written on. Warranty purchased: "Master Surface Coverage" and "5YR Blanket Coverage" RUN AWAY. SKIP THE BRICK. END OF STORY! read more

Go to the brick as they are having a "clearance sale" Just want EVERYONE to be aware that clearance means "pre-used and not working" I hire a plumber to come install the dishwasher and get told the news, not happy, then get the run around telling me that I can get an in store credit, very unfriendly and horrible to deal with, liars and will never stand by their products. I wanted to write this review because of the great experience I had with this company and my sales agent Elliot. There was a glich when I received delivery the first time when the box was incorrectly labelled, but Elliot helped me with getting the correct couch delivered only two days after. The delivery team were wonderful( I just wish I could remember their names) and had my couch set up and in place within 1/2 hour. Thank you so much. I will hopefully be back in the near future. I wish I would've looked at the terrible reviews this place had before buying my bed there. I have received 2 deliveries from them and on both occasions the wooden frame was BROKEN! I'm so angry and annoyed that I now have to wait for a 3rd delivery. I've been dealing with this ridiculous process for weeks now. I swear, if my next bed frame is broken I will lose it and return everything in pieces. I'd much rather sleep on the floor than deal with them again. The customer service rep I spoke to last time I called said she would call me back that day - 2 days later, no call back. I asked to speak to a manager at that point but she was useless as well. Never going back again. I don't recommend this place at all! read more

Unbelieveably inept salesperson.....I think he and all of the brick salespeople have memorized the sales techniques featured in the movie "Glengarry Glenross". Against my better judgement I accepted an invitation thru work for a VIP experience like none other last Thursday. I would recieve "special pricing" for this oh so special event. I was kinda desperate for a new sofa so I thought I would take a peek....what a mistake that was! I explained to my "salesperson" that I need a new sofa, bed and TV so by buying all three from him, I would expect a really good deal. He said he would do his very best (LLPOF) I looked at a cheap sofa listed at $498, he ran to the computer and told me that I was in luck, it was "on sale" for $339. I then said to him that I had been given a "special VIP invitation" and asked what additional discount I would be entitled to? He stated the $339 price reflected the VIP discount. I advised him that he quoted that price before finding out about my VIP invitation. He then said that he always gives the VIP pricing to anyone that walks thru the door.(LLPOF again) He said that is the only discount he could give and that was that. IN OTHER WORDS.....THE "SPECIAL VIP" INVITATION IS JUST A COME ON TO GET YOU THROUGH THE DOOR AND IS MEANINGLESS. NEEDLESS TO SAY OUR COMPANY WILL NOT BE SENDING OUT ANYMORE EMAILS TO OUR CLOSE TO 1,000 EMPLOYEES BECAUSE OF THIS MISLEADING ADVERTISING. All I can say to the personel of the brick is that MITCH and MURRAY from downtown would be proud! ps LLPOF is short form for "LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE!" PS Bought the bed at sleep country and the tv at costco.......to bad brick! read more

I never was a fan of the brick, for the longest time they had pretty tacky furniture and a high price. Back in the day their biggest thing was buying without having any money, and when I was young that was just fine with me, well until 6 months passed. I like clean, modern looking furniture and I never went to the Brick looking for such things. Well we went back there and I have to say what a difference time has made. They have a much better selection of furniture, clean showroom and the prices are quite reasonable. Sure the leather purists out there better be on guard because I think the lower costs will mean cutting corners on fabrics but I guess you get what you pay for. Now even though we didn't buy anything it was still fun reclining almost every couch and sofa in the store. Want to play a game? I don't usually get around to leaving reviews very often but I was just so happy with the service I got yesterday that I wanted to make sure and give them the kudos that they so deserve. The salesperson was exactly what I like which is first of all super knowledgable as I really don't know what is a good washer. I had my last one for 10 years but they educated me and showed me what to look for in a unit and then taught me what to avoid. All with ZERO pressure unlike the 2 other places that we checked out yesterday. They then gave us a killer discount and only charge $40 to come out, deliver and hook up the new one and (most importantly) drag our 300 pound behemoth out of our town-house basement. I can't tell you how much I was dreading THAT!! lol Great experience all around!! read more

We had such a great experience shopping at the Brick, on United Blvd. Coquitlam. Julie, the lady that helped us is simply awesome. She is very professional, polite and accommodating. She made us feel very comfortable when we were choosing our furniture. She gets our 5 Stars. The furniture was delivered in the time promised, even a little earlier than the original timeline. We would shop at the Brick again recommend it to our family and friends. We are happy customers. read more

I bought a freezer with a sales person at Coquitlam in June 2020. the sales man showed us the picture of the freezer online when I descibed I wanted a stand up. He briefly showed specs which was hard to see from the angle we looked at from the side and nomention made it was frost free. The freezer temp dial was full of ice in a month of running so I called for a service to it. The tech showed up and said it wasnt a frost free freezer therefore its normal to freeze over the dial - he pulled out a hair dryer to defrost it. To my knowledge it was a frost free freezeras I did not see on the computer non frost free. It took till Sept 9 to get a tech. When I described the frost to ask for a tech it was not mentioned to me it wasnt frost free. Now I have a worse freezer than the old one i gave away. Beware of sales people who make it difficult to see computer screens. The Brick will not help me out to get a proper frost free freezer. Ive bought furniture from them allot over the years and this is a huge dissapointment. read more

I bought a new bed and pillows, those are great. The delivery guys were helpful. That is all I can say in a positive light. I ordered everything online and paid for mattress pick-up. When the delivery guys showed up, they asked me why the mattress and box spring were not bagged. I didn't know I had to, apparently, someone was supposed to tell me and they were supposed to be mailed to me according to these two guys. So they hauled everything out but when I contacted customer service, I was initially told I would have to go buy the bags myself, they would waive the return fee, and I would have to hope for a time that wasn't too far out. I kicked up a fuss and they agreed to come back that day, I said I had errands to run, call me first and I would be home. I got a call from my kid while I was out because the guys had come back with bags while I was out because no one notified me, after putting in print that they would. I am told they will come back later that day, I get home only to be told no and it will be a week. I get a new 3-hour window (because you also can't set a time) the day before and I can't be there because my kid has an appointment that can't be moved. I call a friend to ask if they can take my kid to the appointment and they end up asking if they can have the mattress and box spring. Great! So I tried to contact the Brick and cancel the pick-up, I let the phone ring 15 times, and no pick-up. I tried to use the online chat function and it doesn't work. So I guess I am taking my kid to my appointment and two delivery guys are going to waste their time coming to my empty home because the Brick can't be bothered to have a functioning customer service. read more

Nov. 29th 2020 we placed an order on a TV Entertainment unit totalling $2,400.00. We were needing something immediately and were told it would arrive before Christmas. Right before Christmas we received a call that said it would be there just before the new year. I called back and was told early January. In January I called to follow up, and they told me mid January. One week ago I received an update call specifically telling me our unit would arrive this week. Following up on this Friday I was told it wouldn't be here until mid Feb. you can see that this is a huge circle of lies that the Brick was telling us in an effort to secure there $2,400.00. There is no doubt that they knew all along the delivery would not be here before February. We went into this Coquitlam location where our families purchased furniture for years, and after waiting 30mins for a manager we're provided with the sales guy that mislead to us in the first place "AJ". After running us in circles I finally was able to have them confirm that in fact a delivery/shipping date had still not been confirmed from the manufacturer. We got our money back and canceled the order. Highly suggest not buying anything from this store. They are not trustworthy, and want your money so that they can stay afloat knowing they have no availability on stock. They wanted to continue to blame it on covid, but covid is not an excuse, it's a challenge. You don't lie to steal peoples money. Will never buy anything from The Brick again, suggest others stay away as well. Would have rated this 0 starts or less but was required to click the minimum and they still deserve less than that. read more

I recently bought a dining room table and chairs from the United Bvd store. i paid it in full $2000+ and was told it would have to be ordered from the manufacturer and would be two weeks before delivery. After thee week of not hearing from them I called and was told it would be another month before it would come in, In all it took two months to receive my order... When the order did arrive the delivery people just dropped it off and left. All other places i've bought furniture from would unpackage set up and take away the packaging of what ever I bought. I thought I was buying from the Brick not IKEA... Very disappointed, I dont even want to give them one Star because they dont deserve that. I believe the store manager should be a roll model for their team. Store Manager Ali or whoever he is mentioned: " the store is his" dosent even know how to treat customers, after we purchased TV and whole set of sofas, he treated us like shit. He was shutting at my old father and he started argueing with him and told us he will call 911!!!!! REALLY!!! Is this how Bricks treats customers ?? If customer is not happy with their purchase then this is not the way that a Store manager should treat the customer!!. I believe he needs more traing and knowledge to be a store manager. He is very unprofessional,Rude and Lack of manners. read more

we just noticed charge on credit card let me explain. when we bought a couch we were told for us to get better deal or promotional price we need to apply for brick card, so we did. it turns out when you sign for brick card you also sign up for insurance that they don't explain you .. to cancel anything you have to call brick card desjardins, than you need to call insurance, after you need to drive to store and cancel there. this is the biggest fraud out there.. no one takes responsibility read more

They must stop the business. Nobody takes responsibility in this company and everyone blames others when they are in trouble. I have been waiting for my washer and dryer to set up. They brought different stack kit several times and I had to waste my time and money for waiting them. This is 4th delivery but still cannot use them. At the beginning, the stupid seller sold my products which I had already paid and he hung up the phone when I called him to complain. Terrible experience. I am not gonna visit this place anymore. I strongly recommend you must not visit here. You will be in trouble. Please save your money and time. read more

If I could give The Brick Coquitlam ZERO stars I would. Do not shop here- this location is absolutely brutal with their customer service. Part of my online order was not received along with the delivery. The delivery men literally shoved the paper in my face and made me sign before I could even open the boxes. Then when I phoned the store, asking them to either deliver the item, or waive my delivery and I will ask a friend to pick it up, they stated that they will not do that as I did not buy from their store so they did not get the commission so they cant do anything. Had I purchased from the store, Gelda (manager) states that she would have "taken care of me." I have written confirmation from the coquitlam store email, that states the delivery company forgot to pick up the item, which is why it was not delivered. The delivery that I PAID for was not complete, they store is not doing anything to correct this wrong. There are a lot of furniture stores around- shop there, the service here is ABYSMAL. read more

This The Brick in United Boulevard seems to be the biggest in the Lower Mainland and the one with the most variety. I personally don't like their stuff very much, most of their things seem pretty cheap (and by cheap I mean low prices but also sometimes, low quality and I think that's why I am not always 100% convinced). Lots of fake leather, not real wood and dated designs. But, honestly, what always keeps me away from The Brick is their sales people! For real, the last time we went there last week, we had this young girl that said hi as soon as we walked into the store (that is great, acknowledging clients makes them feel welcomed), she asked if we were looking for anything specific, we said no, we are just browsing around, thanks very much (do you know that "do not bug me" kinda body language?). We started walking around and she kept coming out of nowhere, right in front of us or behind us (that was really creepy! lol). I think we were in the store for less than 10 minutes, she just totally scared us out of there. *Note to Sales people: if someone says their browsing around, leave them alone! Chances are if they want something, they would go to you to ask questions. Don't miss a possible sale by pushing!. Going back to the review, The Brick is a 3 star store for me, I will still visit them once in a while if I need something for the house (a couple of times I found nice stools for the kitchen as well as a love seat for a family room for a very good price) but please keep the sales team away from me!!!! Thanks! read more

Had a bit of a strange experience here once. We were looking for a sofa for our condo but really just browsing around as we weren't moving for another 5 months. This guy kept following us around, even when we told him we weren't buying anything. Then, we ended up in the TV department and I made the most horrible mistake of asking a question.... before we knew it there were 3 sales people cornering us and pushing us into this 37" TV that we DID NOT need. I humoured them a bit and asked a couple more questions. Before we knew it, this older sales guy comes out of the back with a brand new TV in a box and starts ringing it up, tax and all!!! I stood there in shock and asked the guy, "what are you doing??" the other younger sales guy could see how un-impressed i was and whispered to the older guy to calm it down. We left there in dis-belief but laughed about it later... read more

Terrible company with terrible rules! I hope they go out of business soon. This is not how you should do business! I understand that the market is slow and business may not be as great as it was few years ago but you can't do business like this otherwise you go out of business altogether. I'm afraid have to agree with those who rate this store low. As soon as they take your money the company does not want to deal with you anymore. they sell you $100 pillow and two weeks later it flattens and you call customer serive and they say "it is normal" and that pillow sales are final and no exchanges alowed. Are you kidding me? This is not my first time buying or using a pillow. You charge high for a low quality product and call it final? Also bought an adjustable bed (floor model) and fourth day after delivered it was not working. Called customer service and they said it is not returnable or repairable by Brick and that I have to call manufacturer and because it was a floor model for two years the warranty did not cover shipping or labour! stuck with a non working adjustable bed that I bought less than a month ago! I had a few issues: Pro's: They have a good assortment of furniture and some really awesome sales. In fact I went here right after leaving IKEA and the sales here were better then what IKEA was offering. So my Issues might be overlooked just because of the quality and price of the merchandise. Cons: I go into the store, A salesman (foreign guy, speaks good English,) catches me right off the bat, I take his name and tell him I will yell for him if I need him. After gawking at a few pieces of furniture my GF and I narrow it down to three of things, a leather couch and love seat combo and a 8 drawer dresser with mirror. We call the guy to talk about the sales and go back an forth on a couple other pieces. As my GF and I talk about our options and make a decision, we try to let the salesman know, he cuts us off to greet another gentlemen of similar race to himself, I am guessing that they were family, because he didn't even excuse himself as he walked off with the gentlemen. My GF just waited patiently for what seemed like 10 or 15 minutes watching our salesman on the other corner of the store taking the other guy around to show him items. I admit I was beginning to feel a little bit dissed!! I was trying (at a distance) to get the guys attention and wave him back to us, but he kept turning away from us so we could never get eye contact. After a while another salesman walks up to us and asks if he can help and we tell him we where working with another guy but he walked off. So the salesman went off and paged him for us. Our salesman finally looks over to us and not with a happy face, he walks over to another sales lady pulls her away from a customer and bring her over to us and tell us she will take care of us and then he walks away. ???? I won't tell you how that made me feel because I don't want to get emotional. (sniff sniff). :) The lady that help us, was AWESOME! Very polite and helpful. and helped us with our purchase. We bought the three items mentioned above on the 8th and paid 100 bucks to have it redelivered on the following Saturday 14th between 11 - 5, we could have had them deliver earlier but neither my GF or myself could take time off from work. Yaay, we Junk our current dressers and couches in preparation for the delivery. Saturday they call us to apologize, telling us they could not fit our furniture on the truck... ARG!!!! I complain because all our cloths are in piles all over the room and we just got rid of our couches, Yes we have dinning chairs and boy they are comfy to sit on for a two hour movie (NOT!!) So they promise us to get it on the truck the next day, Sunday! Wow OK, I can deal with that, one more day, YES! No worries. We decide that since our day had been given back to us, we would take a break and go drop off some recycle (TV, and stuff for Value-village) on our way to a breakfast place in Burnaby we herd about from fellow YELPERS! WOOT WOOT!! We leave Vancouver drop off all recycle and donations and make it to Burnaby when we get a call telling us that the truck is 30 minutes away from getting to our apartment. I was like... "What the Heck?" !! Come to find out they have our couches on the truck but not the dresser. ARG!!! We turn around and rush back to the apartment and just manage to meet them there at the same time. PHEW!! And OH BOY DOES IT LOOK GOOD in our living room. Woooowhoo! One day wasted but have a nice looking Living room. Yaay! We still have to re-arrange all our cloths piles off the bed and the next day, we stick around the apartment this time taking any chances. About 3:30pm we start getting a little impatient and decide to call. No one knows where our dresser is. I was like "What the Heck?" !!! Seriously. !!! ARG!!! after getting forwarded to several departments (hours on and off the phone) and finally promised a call back, (More hurry up and wait) we get a call saying the guys forgot to load it on the truck sorry, we wil have to deliver another day! Will Monday work for you? NO!!! Tuesday?? NO!!! Nor will Wed, Thur, Fri... !! ARG! So Now I am waiting till Next Saturday, between 11 and 5. Seriously!! My GF says she will never shop at the Brick again and hates having to live with all her cloths in strategic piles. I personally think that the money we saved in this purchase may be good enough to grant my forgiveness. The thing that REALLY bugs me more then them not delivering (or living with my cloths on the floor) is me having to reschedule my Sunday plans and waste another day for nothing... ARG! I bought stuff for many , many years from The Brick, spending tens of thousands of dollars and there was not one time not having some sort of trouble with them, mostly on delivery of the products or getting something else that I ordered. The last time I bought something was about a week ago. I went there with my wife to purchase a bed and soon we got into the store the sales person were on us , like the sharks on the open water. We got a guy , name AJ and of coarse no matter what we asked , he took us to the most expensive items on the store. Well, he is paid by commission, so I kind of get his idea. We decided on getting a bed , pretty expensive one ( over 3000 dollars), and that's ok, but his manager ( lady) was so pushy on getting us buying the bed cover set. No matter how many times my wife insisted on not getting it , at the end .... we left with the set. The delivery was last Tuesday and when the delivery truck arrived at our place, it was pouring rain. The guys removed the mattress and box spring from their truck and brought to the front door. They only have to deliver this 2 things and when everything was inside the house, the box spring was damaged at one corner because they dragged it all the way from the truck to the house and the mattress had finger prints on the top from their dirty hands. I asked the guys why they dragged the stuff , there not as heavy and couldn't be avoid it all this discomfort, etc. Simply, they told me to call the store and they will deliver another one. They did, 3 days later. My question is: why this guys are so careless with people stuff? Do they get any training or The Brick is aware of all this things? This is not the first time I get to leave this kind of experience. Now, going back to the set cover. We decided to take it back and get a refund , as we really didn't need it. We have a similar set, purchased a while ago for half price we got the new one. I went there on Saturday and the operation manager told me clear that there is no refund on a final sale. Well, madam manager, why your salesperson never mention this when she was so pushy to sell it? However, I return to the store on Sunday when AJ was working, he being the sales person selling the stuff. I asked him why he didn't say anything about the fact I can't return anything back to the store? Why they aren't telling the refund policy to the customers and we have to find out when we try to return it. It's anybody aware about this? After the second try , we still went back home with the cover set. I am writing this review to make other customers aware about their returning policy , so they will not go through all this .... Read everything in the invoice, ask the sales person about this, otherwise you will get in the same trouble , I got. Will I buy anything from The Brick? NEVER read more

I've just made a purchase from the Brick store in United Boulevard,Coquitlam. I was pleasantly impressed by everything including the sales team. I had the pleasure to finalize my sale order with Mr. Aleem K. whom I'm recommending to anyone who wants to close a deal and get an informed suggestion at the Brick. My husband and I we purchased many items over the years, from the Brick store and we are very happy with all of our purchases. read more

One star is way too much for them. Google reviews are fake, Yelp's rating is more real! I can write a whole page-long complain about this store. Long story short, bought a set of dinning table and chairs and less than 2 months , 2 of the 4 chairs already became lose and legs are falling apart. This kind of quality is unacceptable. Went into the store, spoke to couple managers and finally the store manager Ali who kept on saying it is normal to have the chair became lose after months. Does this man even believe what he is saying ??? I dare you to say the same bs to other customers who are shopping around. At the end, he suggested to provide me with a $15 coupon for my future purchase .... The store management is truly lack of decency and has no customer service skills. They do not apologize for such bad experience and being very hostile to customers after they come back for quality related problems. AVOID AVOID, all the google reviews are fake!! read more

A couple of years ago, I bought a $1,000 black leather love seat at The Brick Store. The salesman sold me a 4-year warranty with the couch which is a big scam. Firstly, they claimed they were selling us a leather sofa, but I can see now it is not real leather. (See the attached photo of the label under the sofa) 53% bonded leather and 47% PVC. The guarantee is well calculated to finish at 4 years because at 5 years, the top layer on the sofa began to break apart everywhere. (See attached photos of all small openings in the entire sofa). When you look closely, it's a big scam. The bonded leather is so thin and glued with PVC fabric (as thin as paper) that it turns to garbage after 5 years. An honest guarantee for real leather is 10 years and I paid way too much for this fake glued PVC/leather that it now looks more like a second-hand sofa from Value Village. I took incredible care of this sofa, covering it before sitting and conditioning it regularly. When I called the store, the warranty had of course just expired literally right before the sofa began to fall apart. The Brick told me that a specialist could come to my house to give me a quote to fix it, but at this point, it is better to buy a new good quality sofa not from The Brick. Do not get fooled by The Brick, an expensive guarantee is not worth it and make sure you look at the hidden label under the sofa, so you don't get fooled by the bonded leather scam passing for real leather or any other false advertising. Bad product and bad service after purchase. read more

They don't tell you they don't have the item before you pay and you have to go and pick it up to the warehouse which closes before the store does. Really annoying read more

I bought some furniture( a sofa, a loveseat and a chair ) at this Brick branch .Also I bought a five-year warranty for them. After a few month,I informed the branch's manager that I wanted to use the warranty because there are some peeling on the furniture. The manager set an appointment and a technician came over and saw the furniture. Then the manager emailed me and told she ordered some parts to fix my furniture and the parts would be arrived in the first week of August .But nobody came to fix.I called the manager several times in August and she told me she is still waiting for the parts. Finally she offered me a 550$ brick gift card! It was not acceptable and I called her again and again but she did nothing. After a few month,I emailed to the branch again and ask for repairing. But the manager told me the warranty doesn't cover your furniture problem!? I explained that when I bought the furniture both the salesperson and her manager insured me the warranty covers all damages except animal damages for five years .Also I informed Brick the problem and Brick was soppused to repair the furniture. But sadly the manager did nothing. I think,It is a shame for the branch to act irresponsible like it. read more

horrible customer service! I waited 15 minutes for assistance and then the 'sales' person bothered to show up. And she made it perfectly clear that she wasn't interested in helping me buy a bed. Twice in the middle of the conversation with me, she turned and walked several meters to talk to someone else. Too bad, I really wanted to buy a bed today. read more

Brought a 58" Samsung tv on Sunday. I decided after watching it for a couple of days that I would like to upgrade it to a more expensive model (That would be me giving them more money) But no. I was told they would not refund or EXCHANGE any electronics. I could not find this crappy policy anywhere in the store or on my bill of sale. I have never seen a store that would not let you upgrade your product. RIPOFF read more

I was originally not pleased because it took almost two months for my couch to get delivered however the manager "Cleveland" was very nice and made it up to me by throwing some extras in with my delivery to make up for the inconvenience. Thank you read more
