Pets may stay for a fee. My husband and I spent two nights here. We parked our vehicle in the garage for $20 per night, and we and other customers noticed that the garage had tight spaces. Our room was clean and in good condition. It contained a mini kitchen with dishes and utensils, a sink, dishwasher, electric stovetop, refrigerator, and microwave. In the bedroom, the mattress felt comfortable. We liked the couch and television in the living room. The bathroom had a large shower with hot water and good pressure. I liked the quality of the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but other toiletries were missing, so I asked the front desk for a lotion. We could hear other customers walk and shower in the room above us, and we could hear a dog bark across the hallway at night.

Pull out couch was very uncomfortable but that's to be expected. The free breakfast was not that good but again expected with a free breakfast. There's a few great local options in the area for breakfast. There's location was great! Super close to restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed the pool - it's pretty deep which I wasn't expecting. Over all a good option if you're a family looking to stay in the southside.

This place is insanely gorgeous! I just loved my time here as a guest of an event I attended…read morerecently. Every room seems to have a different feel to it. You could seriously have one heck of an event here with some creativity. There's even a full working kitchen... which probably comes in handy for caterers. If I was getting married (again:) or looking for a large event space I'd look here. You could really work some cool themes into the event. I'd love to do a Mad Men themed event here, it just seems to lend itself to that era. But I kinda think you could do anything with the venue. The only thing that would be an issue is that you would absolutely need to hire a valet service. We all know what a pain in the ace parking is in the South Side, double that with a super narrow street and you're pretty much parking miles away.

My fiance and I were looking for a New York loft-type venue that could hold around 180 people. In New York this venue would cost the same amount that my whole wedding will cost (we looked there first and hurried it back to the 'burgh). We're planning our Pittsburgh wedding from San Francisco, so it's important that we have vendors who know what they're doing without meeting us often. Jay has been great. He's not so fantastic with email, so get him on the phone to schedule. We're even just dropped by to look at the space and never had trouble being buzzed in. Jay and his colleague Mike who works on videography are always very honest recommending vendors who know the space and can work with us from a distance. Totally worth the money for this space and the ease of working with Jay.

Super versatile with lots and lots of potential for personalization. Multiple different areas with a variety of character. Gracie and her team were extremely helpful from the moment i first looked at the space to the day after the event. They have seasonal decorations that add to the beauty of the space. They are extremely flexible and worked with us to get the tables/decor/food setup. I cannot think of a better space for private events from birthdays to weddings. Highly recommended.

HIP at the Flashlight Factory may claim their "clients are not just another number," but their…read moreactions certainly prove that their clients are nothing more than dollar signs to them. Long story short, HIP notified my BFF via email only one week before her wedding that, to comply with the fire marshal's mandate, their venue would no longer be able to accommodate her wedding. Fortunately, the bride and bridal party were able to miraculously find another amazingly accommodating venue that same day, but HIP's handling of the issue was nothing less than classless. What was already a stressful situation was exacerbated by HIP's incompetent and unsympathetic actions, including (but not limited to): - delayed communication of the venue's inability to host the wedding - being unresponsive to requests to finalize details of the venue transition (yet still having time to post videos to social media about the situation) - trying to charge ridiculous prices for minimal venue involvement ($2,500 just to use the venue as a hotel and to take pictures there), - and claiming the rented tables were damaged when they were returned (even though they were already damaged when provided in the first place) just to be able to keep the $500 deposit We're so thrilled that the wedding turned out well despite the frustration of having to deal with HIP, but their behavior and attitude were completely unprofessional and, quite frankly, rude. If you're looking to have your big day at their venue, I'd recommend thinking twice. Give your business to people that truly have your best interests -- and not just your money -- in mind.

Most wines cost between 13-22 around this area. These wines were 35 - 60 per bottle. However, all of the reds/whites were amazing. Pinot Noir was my favorite. The celebs with wine includes local and national celebrities like Clemente, Hines Ward and Smokey Robinson. Great for date nite, girls night out or solo missions.
