It was amazing having her come to the house to help because recovery is already so hard and not having to leave the house for an appt was so relieving. Every mom who breast feeds worries if their baby is getting enough. Briana did weighted feeds to reassure me. She was also really fast at replying to anything I needed when I reached out. I felt so comfortable with her and supported. Having her was a huge reason why I was confident in breastfeeding and how we were successful. Still having her to contact here and there shows just how much she truly cares. Thank you Briana, I will recommend you to everyone!

I never felt judged or pressured and she made sure I was well informed on everything I needed to know. Amy is open and supportive in a way that mothers-to-be feel empowered and strong about their bodies and their ability to birth naturally and peacefully and in their own "perfect" vision. Her presence set me at ease in our visits together and during my baby's birth because she was totally confident in me which reaffirmed my confidence in myself. She has great resources and recommendations for birthing classes, vitamins & supplements, prenatal yoga and beyond. I always value and trust her input because I know it's something she would use or do herself. Amy has stayed in touch and become a dear family friend after walking with us through the intimate and powerful experience that is pregnancy and birth. We will most definitely use her for our next baby and look forward to doing it all over again.

I…read morefirst went early in my pregnancy for a prenatal massage because I was experiencing some SI pain and went back a few times for massages throughout my pregnancy because of how wonderful I felt after each one. Every encounter with the front desk and massage therapists left me feeling relaxed and like I got what I needed. I loved that the therapists were very knowledgeable about prenatal massages and I got a great massage/pressure. We also reached out to them for information about birth doulas, and we connected with Risa. Risa was incredibly helpful during our prenatal and labor times and as an outreach in postpartum. Being first-time parents, we had open conversations about what to expect with birth which helped us shape our preferences while knowing things could change at any time; they provided an incredible opportunity for us to ask questions and talk through concerns as we came closer to our due date; and when it came time for delivery, we knew exactly how to contact Risa and be sure of what we needed. At the hospital, having her by our side helped immensely through her vast knowledge and expertise. Risa kept us calm and ready with a positive, upbeat energy and helped navigate obstacles with our medical team as they came up and checked in with us postpartum to see how we were adjusting. We will absolutely recommend Risa to any friends looking for a doula.
