I can't say enough about Emily, she is a true healer. I've had terrible back pain for a number of…read moreyears, including a tough little ball between my shoulder blades. I've been working at a computer for 8-10 hours a day, for many years. The first time I saw Emily my issues all practically disappeared. Then of course they came back after a few weeks. This is going to happen if you don't change your habits. I went to see Emily and again my issues were relieved. Emily recommended changes in my posture and yoga poses I could do. She is also a certified yoga teacher! She also was able to explain my issues to me pointing to specific muscles, their connections, specific points of tension and were they arise from, as well as certain psychological and energetic blocks. She helped my get to the root of my problems and to change the underlying causes. I saw her another 2 times about two months apart, and then now I see her every 6-8 months, and my back pain and that tough little ball are gone! I've had a lot of Thai massage including many in Thailand, and I have to say Emily is up their with the best of them. I almost exclusively get Thai massages, because regular oil massages never feel like they are getting to the issues. Thai massage is a true medicinal, and spiritual, practice with a very long tradition. The sessions are normally 2 hours, which some people might think is too long, but once you are in there and you feel Emily hit every single problem spot in your body, time disappears. Be aware that the first massage can be intense and you might feel a little queasy afterwards. A lot of toxins get released from tense muscles as they are relaxed. Drink lots of water!

I've been seeing Emily for 6 years now regularly; I consider her the first stop for my healthcare…read more Her work is focused, intentional, and specific each time I see her. We work on "what's up" and I always go away feeling lighter, looser, more together. Emily is energy savvy - intuitive and knowing while connecting to your needs. As a practitioner of Thai massage, I can't say enough about her skill set and knowledge. She's studied in Thailand directly with some of the most empowered teachers and it shows. She is constantly learning and bringing more knowledge and care to the mat. Emily is truly the best I've ever experienced in this modality. Whether you're in Santa Fe for a visit or you live here - schedule and appointment with Emily. . . truly it is an act of self love.

I was visiting Santa Fe from Chicago and wanted to get a workout in since it had been a while…read more Trained on 10/17/15. I showed up late and Char, the instructor graciously allowed me to train with the class. The gym is located in an industrial area, with plenty of parking. Typical of many martial arts gyms. Facilities looked nice, had a small lobby, with equipment for sale, changing room with plenty of lockers, and some weight and cardio equipment. There were about 10? Muay Thai bags, a small boxing ring, open mat space, and a small cage. This place looks like it can run grappling, striking, and MMA classes simultaneously. The cardio kickboxing class was well structured, started some intense warm-ups on the bag and transitioned into partner pad work. There was good variety of exercises combined with techniques, then we worked on combos on the bags. The final segment was a battery of workout stations, finished with a cool down. Char ran a solid class, it was a great workout and very enjoyable. As a practioner of BJJ, Boxing, and Muay Thai, I wish I could have tried the classes as well. The facilities look good, and the variety offered here seems great. If you are even remotely interested in trying a class, go for it! You are guaranteed at least a great, free workout.

Hi, I was trying to learn how to compete muay thai style. I am currently in lots of boxing clubs…read morebut none like muay thai. That being said I go to a lot of different gyms and If I could give this place lower than a one star I would. The "students" are in a lot of danger due to the trainers not having actual talent or knowledge to teach. The place is also filthy, the floor is rarely cleaned, When I left this gym I had scabies on my feet. The customer service was good but the classes are not what you want for your child. And the price is ridiculously high for the quality you get.
