We always ordered Cod and mainly compared the fish, chips and mushy peas. Pisces had the best fish and mushy peas, and were a close second in chips. Their fish had good rich flavor and a nice crispy crust, unlike the others which were mealy and tended to be lacking flavor. The mushy peas had a desirable taste and consistency, and the chips were as good as any of the others except one that edged them out on crispiness. All chips we tried were better than most we have in the USA. At Pisces all the fried food was fresh and hot, served within a minute or two of cooking. Service was fast, attentive and very friendly.
