I visited this restaurant recently for sunday lunch and I can highly recommend it and have done on a few occassions.
After being seated by the very attentive waiter we browsed the menu and ordered quickly, our starters were soon on the table.
I had the king prawn risotto and it arrived beautifully presented and though at first glance it appeared to be on the small side it was in fact quite filling.
As it was sunday I went for the traditional roast beef and yorkshire pudding and what a treat that was, the meat was cooked to perfection and very tender, the large yorkshire pudding was just how it should be, the vegetables lightly cooked and the potato lump free!
Though stuffed after such a large meal I did manage to fit in a pudding, a sweet sticky toffee pudding which finished the meal off rather nicely.
The food is rather expensive and you could easily get a cheaper sunday dinner elsewhere but it wouldn't be such a high standard of food. read more
