Breakfast was excellent the next morning and overall the property was clean and modern looking. The only criticism was when I asked for a later check-out (by an hour, to 12PM) and the younger woman at the desk that morning tried to charge me $25, when clearly the hotel was not at capacity and an hour wouldn't have made any difference; this is the experience gap between someone newer like she was and the more experienced staff who checked us in the night before (forget her name but she was EXTREMELY professional and has an amazing customer service voice and attitude!). This is why it's 4 stars as opposed to 5. If I am in Eads again the Cobblestone is where I will be staying!

The nachos were very flavorful with various toppings. I believe the beer cheese, green chilies, pico and guac was a good combo with the seasoned steak. The taquitos have this good adobo, crema, carnitas combo that work together in concert. I did enjoy the pickled red onions that were just tart enough to offset the richness of the taquitos. Overall great experience with the wait staff that served us. Late Lunch was a good pace to customers coming in and out.

The entire hotel is a loud hang out spot, the smell is overpowering like chemicals and mold. After getting to my room and seeing how small it is and how close to the elevator at was, I was going to TRY to make it work. However the TV wouldnt work they fiddled with it for a half hour, staff acted like it wasn't a big deal that the TV didn't work but if I couldnt have a suite with the extra space and quiet I needed the TV to work to keep my dog from barking at all the loud noises. They switched me to room #109 which was HORRIBLE! The smell of chemicals from the hall, and the smell of 5 men smoking their bqq meat directly outside the door with the front door to the hotel open, ws overpowering and even worse than the room on the 2nd floor. The floor was disgustingly sticky, the noise level was much louder, and I finally said this isnt right I need to go to a different hotel. I have video evidence I checked in just after Jan 4th @ 2pm, and checked out 3:05PM same day. I had to call and talk to the manager, Denise for a refund. She was belittling every single one of my complaints, acting like I was lying about the stench, and condescendingly said "you really thought you were getting a suite for $81"? I was absolutely shocked that a manager of a business behaved so unprofessional. She even said that I wasnt being honest about the length of time I stayed before I checked out. On the receipt I was sent the fraudulantly said I checked out Jan 5th, 2026 at 10:55AM. She was acting like I was trying to get a free stay, i was dumbfounded. I booked a SUITE because that is what ny needs required, and they didnt even apologize or try and make it right. Then they proceeded to be unprofessional. This type of business should be closed down, I will be reporting them and making sure everyone knows they are not a good place. Having zero accountability, not apologizing, being condescending, and calling me a liar yet i had proof to back uo my claims is all the most unnecessary thing to deal with when all you want to do is relax until you get back on the road. Spent 1 hour there, theyre refusing to refund me
