This place is under new management and i was worried that it wouldnt be as good, but we had a lovely meal there.
The staff are so nice, its got a friendly atmosphere, the prices are good and it is a big place so its never really packed.
There is a small, basic menu with a specials board packed with more stuff
They do sunday lunches and evening meals
There isnt a childrens menu but they will do you either stuff like burger or chicken nuggets or you can ask for a small portion off the main menu
It is also a hotel I have never stayed there, but the seperate breakfast room looks realy nice.
There is a small parking area as the side and it is very close to the train station.
With Barry Sidings just up the road this is a really good place to take the family out for the day
After writing this review i went back about a week later and it was rubish. The food was awful, dried out, burnt chicken with a massive salad that had roses made out of tomatoes and cucumber love hearts that would have been ok if the food was any good, but realy annoying when the food was so bad.
the coffee machine was broken so they brought us instant, which was fine, but they put it in a cafetiere to look like real coffee and tried to charge us the same price.
Really disapointing and one of only a few times i have ever complained about food
sorry to the person who thought my original review was helpful read more
