Been coming to The Bench before it was even named The Bench, it was called Graff Supplies back in the day and before Rob took over the space it was run by two funny looking dudes with stupid hair cuts that didn't have a clue what the fuck were doing.
This store helped put the Birmingham Graffiti scene on the map and bring a lot of writers together, not to mention help build one of the best graffiti scenes in the whole of the UK. The Bench ain't just a place to buy paint from, it's a place to hang, meet cool people, talk about random stupid shit and graffiti adventures and drink powdered tea out of jam jars or whatever the fuck you can find to put some in.
The store has been located in the Custard Factory in Digbeth for quite a few years now and is full of quality paint, MTN, Ironlak, etc. mops, markers, inks, hats, shirts and various other items. I live in Atlanta now and unfortunately there is nothing like The Bench here, or the rest of the East Coast for that matter.
Support your local graffiti store and visit The Bench, if you can't make it there buy from the webstore. read more
