This church was absolutely amazing. It was both a privilege and a blessing to attend the 9:00 AM service on Sunday, February 8th, 2026. The worship team was outstanding, and the presence of God was undeniable. This is a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church with a clear heart for discipleship--growing believers, sharing the gospel, and raising up men and women who boldly preach the Word. They stand firmly on truth, acknowledging sin without compromising Scripture, yet they love people deeply through Christ. That balance--truth and love--is rare in many places today. It is easy to see why this church is growing. It was a sincere pleasure to attend, and may God continue to bless this church, their pastors, and the entire worship team. I've been to The Municipal Auditorium several times before but this time it was just perfect! Although it was held at Municipal Auditorium, (who also did the baggage security and restrooms) EVERYTHING else was done by The Belonging Co. And I think that was the missing ingredient to perfection! The Belonging Co volunteers and staff anticipated every need and every minute detail. The level of professionalism that would be nothing short of Oscar worthy. The check-in process, TBCO Security, Guest Services, music, lighting, Kids team, Youth team, Mother's station, Lounge area etc etc... Everything was just perfect!!!! Hope Darst, Kari Jobe and Natalie Grant brought a slice of Heaven down to the Municipal Auditorium this weekend along with the worship team from The Belonging Co. If you've ever been to a Christian concert, imagine getting down with The Best of THE BEST cos that's what TBCO Conference 2022 was. And the greatest part of it all - various churches from all denominations gathered together for one purpose; to glorify Christ in unison. Thank you Pastors Alex & Henry for your obedience. I love Jesus and I love mega churches. I've served in both small family churches and big mega churches and my favorite is mega churches because there are a lot more resources as far as volunteers to welcome people and to help you find your way. All the mega churches I've served in and visited throughout California and Texas always worked hard to make newcomers feel welcome, so that's what I was expecting from The Belonging. That's not what I got. Sis was jazzed to visit because listened to their music and I wanted to check this place out because an old friend of mine used to IG about this place all the time when she lived in Nashville, so I wanted to see why she loved it so much. When I showed up, I got a weird feeling about this place. The golf cart guys who pick you up in the parking lot are great and friendly and they were the best part of the experience. But when I walked into the lobby, no greetings. As I tried to enter the line for coffee, they shut it down. That didn't make me feel like I belonged, so right there, I was already thrown into hangry mode I admit. Still I tried to be open to the experience but that worship team is a bit show boaty, and I know from show boaty because I used to serve at a mega church on Hollywood Boulevard, but there, I could feel the Spirit in the room because our show boaty worship team still ushered in the Spirit. Here I saw a lot of preening. Again, I tried to dismiss that because maybe it was a me thing. Then they did a kid's Christmas musical and it's impressive how many kids are at The Belonging. I worked hard to relax and enjoy the experience, but the songs weren't great and I was getting antsy from the coffee I didn't have. The sermon was okay. The lead pastor was one of those preachers in sneakers, which I have to say again, doesn't bother me because my pastor in LA was the same way, but I really wasn't feeling the Spirit. I wanted to so badly to appreciate but I realized I was doing all the work here to make myself like this place and if I was doing that, do other visitors feel that way. Lastly, they tell us that the church merch is discounted to the lowest price it will ever be because they need to clear out the inventory to make way for the new stuff. I rolled my eyes and realized it wasn't a me thing- Jesus would be turning over tables here. Yet again let me give the caveat that my church in LA also sells church merch during conference at exorbitant prices to the point that when we had an opportunity to purchase the building we met in, I knew we would come up short because we were having conference at the same time and the kids at my church had to decide between helping make a legacy in the middle of Hollywood or being able to afford a nice fit for conference because the church merch was a hundred bucks for a sweatshirt that would end up in the local Goodwill in a couple of years. I've had my issues with my church but this place was off the charts. Oof! I never want to come to this place again. I love Jesus, I love his people, and I love the Church. I just don't like this church. read more

First of all: I want to encourage those reading this that it's hard to really get a feel for a church without at least a few visits. We've been going to the Belonging Co for nearly two years and have really been blessed by it! There are 3 campuses: Nashville (main campus), Franklin, and Columbia. Co groups (connect groups AKA small groups) are an amazing way to build community and get involved. We love our family group! There is a deep level of care and intentionality within the Belonging Co. One of the biggest highlights for us is the kids ministry. A big motto is, "there is no junior Holy Spirit." Our son has LOVED kids ministry at TBCO and I love that kids get to fully experience worship, great Bible teachings, and a culture of prayer. It is incredible. No church is perfect. You won't find such a thing. But TBCO is truly a place where God is moving. Such a life-giving community! read more

Got to worship here this morning. It was a sweet tim. Enjoyed the service, lots of families and young people! The music is HIGH QUALITY and powerful. Great spot to worship on a Sunday morning! We got there early for parking, which was the right move. It was pretty crowded. I'd encourage you to get there early if you're able. read more

The Belonging - Churches Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

Loved the church the first two times I visited (in August). Went to Christmas Eve services 2022 and was deeply disappointed. Maybe I missed the memo, but I was hoping for things like worship, encounter, and a deep dive into Jesus. Instead I walked into sleigh bells and presents under the tree and a slick, glittery, ready-for-Prime-Time jazz and gospel "show" that turned the "audience" into passive watchers of someone else's performance. I could go deeper with a Christmas TV special. For seekers who like to avoid the "J" word, it was perfect. I was heartbroken. read more

Visited for the first time today and unsurprisingly loved the worship! However, I was disappointed in the sermon. The pastor mentioned one passage and talked about the gifts the lord had given him for the rest of the sermon. I'm happy the lord is using him but would have loved to hear more from the word. The service seemed watered down, possibly for a more seeker friendly approach. I might've caught the service on the wrong day and hope the cross and scripture is preached more on other occasions. read more

My family visited for the first time last week....everything was great. Parking wasn't easy but the attendants were awesome! Everyone was gracious and friendly! I like the dark feel during worship so I'm not distracted by other people and what they're doing. The preacher was on point and easily relatable I would highly recommend a visit and even making this church your new home. ONLY negative and I even hate mentioning it because it sounds silly but my husband had a really rough time with chairs...felt like he was gonna collapse but he's a big guy so maybe no one else had an issue. I was so blessed by this entire experience and will definitely be back! Love of Jesus and people is TOP priority !!! read more

I've been to this church twice. Once in a Sunday at 4pm and once for the Tuesday 7:30 service). It was recommended by a friend for their contemporary worship, community outreach, and Biblical foundation. I was warned to come early because parking can be a conundrum! We found this to be true, but easier to manage at the Tuesday service. The church was started by a couple from Australia and they rotate preaching between the two of them. The worship is amazing and led by some incredibly talented people (yes, this is true of a lot of churches in Nashville, but I still consider The Belonging Co to be my favorite thus far!). The preaching was also excellent and has such inspired word! The times we've gone we had to skip out after 2 hours...so good to know but don't be turned away because of it. I'm in my early 30's and still have to point out that this is a young crowd. At first (when I'm being overly picky) I wasn't sure how I felt about that (HOW CAN I BE THE OLD ONE?!). Then it hit me that their passion and zeal is contagious and I love that energy I seemed to have lost years ago. I am hoping they are able to find their own building which might come with a more traditional Sunday morning service times. read more

The Belonging is a great church the music there is great it's like a concert. The only suggestions I could give them is to have a meet and greet events and moments in the service at the church because people are dying to make friends and meet people because it can be really hard meeting people at times. from it being such a big church. The only other thing I would suggest is to have the head pastor and the assistant pastor speak more instead of having a bunch of guest speakers do the service instead other than that it's a great church and all the people there are all very kind. We attended while on vacation. At first, everything was great. The people were friendly and the music was very well done. I come from a more traditional church music background, but I was curious to experience something new and different. The music leaders were much better than I have experienced previously in a contemporary style. Worship was happening and we began to feel the love of Christ. Then we got to the sermon. In a church that touts acceptance on its website, I must say that an LGBT person searching for God would not have felt acceptance there. One person in our group recently came out as bisexual. "Belonging" is not how she felt, nor did I, knowing how she must have felt. Please, either change your name or change your approach. Those who were judged by religious leaders felt loved by Jesus during his ministry. How can a church do THAT? You are welcome to your theology. That is freedom of religion, but don't say that people will "belong" there if you plan to preach against them and tell your members not to hang out with them. I don't know how the sermon ended, because we left during it. I was hoping that our LGBT friend would find Jesus there and return to the faith she was brought up with; but I feel that this message drove another wedge between her and her faith. With any other situation, churches seem to preach a Jesus that starts where you are and works from within you; but with LGBT issues, churches send the not-so-subtle message that you have to change BEFORE you are accepted. I'm not a hater of anyone; but I would implore the pastors of this church to consider rethinking their approach to this issue, so that LGBT people may be open to hearing the saving Gospel of Jesus, instead of feeling ostracized. read more
