I came here last summer for a training day for the University of the First Age, who frequently use the venue for training and such. The main room that we were based in was brilliantly large and I did not feel as though it was over-crowded, as there were about fifty of us in there. They had a great projector and screen, which meant that the UFA's presentations went smoothly. In the room there were also side doors which opened out onto the back lawn and as the weather was nice we did some of the training activities outside, which I thought was nice. During our breaks, we went into the foyer area where the centre provided a range of refreshments for us, which were lovely and at lunch time we went upstairs where a hot dinner was provided, which was delicious. The reception staff that I met were very friendly and helpful and overall I thought it was a great venue. read more
