The welcome wasn't so great (i think the receptionist was on break) and we started 15 min late but all was well with the shampoo cut and style which is what i came for. I was also quoted $45 over the phone (wash, dry, curl). He charged me $65 because of "the time", even though he didn't wash my hair and my visit took 1 hour and 10 minutes. I went back to my hotel and washed my hair to get the curl out.

Then she used so much conditioner that my hair feels dirty. The lady who dried my hair used entirely too much product. She also didn't dry my hair completely. She put some waves in with a straightener which may have turned out nice had there not been so much conditioner and product. Unfortunately I will have to wash my hair tomorrow because it's already looking and feeling dirty. I'm from the NYC area, and I know I have a high standard. I understand that this area services a very different clientele with different expectations, but I feel like my gripes are about things that should be subject to a universal protocol.
