The service was great, the baristas were friendly, but how is the coffee and pastries? Grrrrrrrrreat! ( I had to do it!) the first thing I ordered from here was the cold brew, with sugar free vanilla and ( iced) and a cinnamon roll or bun. The coffee was smooth, and not too strong but still coffee. The cinnamon roll was otherworldly good! It was small but packed a huge amount of flavor. I think my favorite element was the fact that it was almost braided and a little sticky but perfectly balanced and not super sweet. The vibe of the place is one that you can eat your breakfast in comfort, have a breakfast meeting, baby shower, birthday party, etc. The space almost looks too nice to be just a coffee shop, the owner laughed when I told him that. The other pastry I have tried was is the pumpkin blintz. I'm not even a pumpkin guy, but they looked so pretty that I had to try one and that is the best pumpkin anything I've had. Light, crispy fillo dough with a light, airy, mound of delicious pumpkin whipped cream?! Crazy good!

One server making the whole place rock 'n' roll. Which meant things were a little slow. Food took quite a while. Hollandaise sauce is like a beautiful ocean view from a cliff on a sunny day. You don't know how wonderful it really is until you are immersed in it. The sauce was very tasty. The poached eggs struck me as a bit runny, so I will be sure to ask for over medium or a slow yolk next time. I elected for the upcharge for avocado and the serving size was small. The breakfast potatoes were overly salty and of the standard frozen variety, which sort of clashed with the expert presentation of the egg's benedict. I would 100% return.

Attentive Servers without rushing your experience. And the food, the real reason why I so enjoy Meta & Rose, never disappoints. I'm a sucker for appetizers and a pork belly junky. Well, Meta has nailed both. Their Korean Style Pork Belly plate is outstanding and I will often go for the Pork Belly and stay for the entrees. Wasilla and the MatSu Valley is starving for good restaurants and Meta & Rose is filling a hungry void.

So we jumped in the car and headed a few miles down the road to this cute little espresso stand. We arrived at 8:01 AM and they were promptly open and ready to make us some coffee. We placed our order but the baristas were not 100% sure if they knew how to make what we asked for (a long pour americano) they were super pleasant and willing to learn. One of the baristas was actually in training so it was a great opportunity. Let me say the coffee was DELICIOUS! They use Kaladi beans and have a great variety of drinks, flavors, and snacks ranging from breakfast burritos to pretzels and cheese. To top it all off they had dog treats for my pup so everyone was happy! We will absolutely be making this a regular stop when we are in Willow!

They do! I meant to snap a pic of the menu. They had about ten flavors and they were all unique. No vanilla or chocolate. It was things like mango raspberry and coconut chocolate. Things like that. I drink a lot of black coffee. Mostly americanos. I am probably spoiled on Uncle Leroy's fresh roasted coffee beans, but something about the Americano here just didn't seem right. There was some weird aftertaste. Maybe a burnt flavor? Anyway, lots of specialty drinks and come little cafe style seating area included. I'm excited to try it again and sit down for a slow sip of coffee.
