She has cut my hair short (and I mean boyish short) and does it now that it's longer (shoulder length). She can be a little loud sometimes and she can get too busy talking so you have to remind her to pay attention but she always does a great job! I've only been to a few salons since I moved down here in 2001 so I think this is a moderately priced salon, but it may be more on the inexpensive side as I might just be cheap!

Then came the shave.....One of the most painful experiences I have ever had. Do we know how to sharpen a straight razor or replace the blades on the electric razor?? I ask for a shave not a hair pull. Honestly it would have been more comfortable to ask you wax my face, because it felt like a back wax. Sharp instruments cut they do not pull the hairs out. Both the electric razon blades need to be replaced and the straight razon needs to be sharpened or replaced regularly. This was a painful dreadful experience.

She didn't even try and clearly didn't want to even come near my kids. Another stylist ended up cutting their hair. She ran in the back and hid for some reason. This whole experience was weird. Its just hair, just cut it. My kids aren't thugs and I wasn't asking for anything overly complicated. I only wanted a bowl cut and a mohawk. Worst service ever. Literally just a crazy woman screaming about how she doesn't do black hair. I would have been better off going to my normal Latino spot that over charged me. Never again. Update still got the haircuts here since I didn't want to make it weird. Jackie is hid away until an older latino man came in here and immediately sat him and started cutting his hair with clippers even though she said she only used scissors. So I can honestly say the problem is 100% her. She even offered his granddaughter candy and was warm and friendly with his. She never even acknowledged my kids. Thank you Tanya and Shelly for treating my children with actual kindness and for the good job you did. But I'm never coming back here. I don't want to be in the room with such wickedness like Jackie.
