To this day I've never thought about going to another place. I've tried various "looks" in my time and Bob has been open to them and hit them all exactly how I wanted them (even if it was against his better judgement!) I decided to try a barber shop in Racine. (I just moved to the Caledonia area) if you are from this area you'll quickly realized there aren't that many barbershops that cater to people of color. I was happy to find somewhere relatively close. If only I knew the terrible experience I would receive I would have not stepped foot in here. Not long after sitting in the chair faced away from the mirror, I turned and noticed the haircut was heading towards disaster, I quickly paused and tried to correct the situation as it seemed as tho Gizelle the young lady who was cutting my hair, was not very experienced with what I wanted done. Here comes mucho man "L" (I think is what he calls himself), apparently he is the brother of the owner, Rip. Instead of trying to listen to what I had to say, he kept cutting me off to tell me that the haircut was good, the tone was disrespectful to almost threatening, so I got out the chair in shock that he will address a customer in that manner, Rip tried to caution him but he kept going on. On my way out he called me cheap. Meanwhile I'm getting into my 2019 Mustang convertible (The Irony) nevertheless they do not deserve your business. Fortunately my Barber in downtown Brian (Limitless Hair Studio) was able to pull out of what he was doing and fix my messed up hair. If I could do 0 Stars I would…read more I would never recommend this place to anyone! I booked my son and I an appointment well in advance as we have a wedding today at 3pm. It puts a hold on your account for your entire balance due to their cancellation program (not a problem) 30 mins before my appointment they charge my account for both appointments (again no problem) then I get an email right after charging my account that 1 of my appointments was cancelled and refunded... I call to see what is going on as it is only 20 mins before my appointment and the guy I spoke to was EXTREMELY Rude and unprofessional. He said "I don't know I guess he was sick and can't cut your sons hair" I asked what he was talking about as the only one cancelled was my appointment with Giselle... he said no they both are cancelled. I asked why both were not refunded and he just kept saying "I don't know I'm busy cutting someone's hair" I asked if anyone else could cut his hair as the wedding is at 3 and he just said he has no idea and to check online... umm what?! If I had a customer that was screwed over and would do everything possible to make it right! This is exactly why small businesses get a bad rep. Still no refund and no assistance from this barbershop. What a joke.

Paying attention to detail, he took his time to ensure my fade and lining was an evenly blended work of art! The atmosphere of his salon is inviting, clean, and open. I felt comfortable and the conversation was free flowing and welcoming. The prices are awesome for the quality of service you're receiving, too! As for the haircut...he used shears and he took his time perfecting my hair until it was perfect. He knows to take an image or haircut in mind and execute it with his client in mind. This is my second time coming here and I would definitely be coming back!
