There's nothing "fancy" or overproduced here, and that's the magic. It's a true one-man show. He actually listens to what you want, and you never feel rushed or like you're being pushed through a conveyor belt like at the chain places. Honestly, my favorite part is just sitting back and letting him work. Bob has that rare combination of skill and consistency where you walk out thinking, yep, nailed it again. If you want a real-deal barbershop experience and a barber who cares, this is the spot.

I asked him if he does clipper cuts like fades, and he said yes. Good enough for me! I had a great conversation with Bob while he cut my hair. He's been cutting at this 60-year-old shop for 10 years now. How am I the first person to write a Yelp review?!? Anyway, he explained all that is required to be licensed as a barber in Minnesota, and I was really impressed. I could tell he was good at his craft. I showed him a pic of my hair cut short, and he went to work. No problem. He knew what I wanted. Whereas some barbers seem to rush you out like a fast food place, Bob was in no hurry. Still, he was efficient and cut my hair in about 25 minutes flat, even while carrying on a conversation the whole time. If you're looking for a real barber with great skill and lots of experience for a fair price, then Bob is your guy. I'll definitely be back again.
