Been here TWICE and got old dried out cinnamon rolls each times that cost 9 bucks of my hard earned money. Asked for a refund to the owner Terry. Patiently waiting. They need to write the dates on the products so the workers will know they are serving OLD products. Or unless the already know it's old and try to get rid of them first...

It's in downtown Keystone Heights. Julia's has a very nice corner spot with a few tables outside. The side of the building that's "street side" I guess looks dirty and unkept. The inside is nothing special. One side lined with booths and some tables in the middle. The other side though, has an amazing window area looking out over the Main Street and downtown. In my opinion it isn't utilized very well. There's a couch or some tables. It's not very inviting and could be a perfect people/parade watching spot. They had the usual amount of flavors, more Blue Belle than Hershey. My son opted for blue Spider-Man cotton candy bubblegum as usual. My daughter and I both chose the German chocolate cake flavor. I chose cups over cones for all bc we were traveling with them. It smelled like delicious pizza (that we did not try) but after seeing the pie I knew it was from a frozen truck. There were other menus items like shakes, floats and fries but we just had ice cream. The cashier wasn't friendly and seemed impatient with me as I couldn't decide on a flavor. Her annoyedness carried over to the register. You're not missing anything if you skip this place!

This is a must for any girls day, mommy and me or sister outing…read more So much to see including a lovely gift boutique with all kinds of gifts and treats from tea to Z . Jen (shop owner) is a delightful and lovely person that truly makes you feel special. She has a gentle soul and a kind heart and loves her visitors. The tea variety was incredible and all the food was memorable and delicious. So rarely do I take time from my day to relax and enjoy my friend's company and conversation; doing so at this lovely establishment made the time even more special and more enjoyable. 5 stars Two thumbs up And lots of gratitude

Absolutely incredible tea room!…read more For my family the best tea house combines multiple elements to create the perfect experience. 1. Variety of teas--you need to have more than a few selections to choose from including different types of teas, from fruity to herbal to green to black and so on. 2. Delicious food--The tea is important, but you want to taste something amazing that requires chewing as well. After all, you need that to complement the tea. 3. Overall Ambience and Attention to Detail--it should look like a tea room, not a restaurant. There should be fun things to look at and the settings and accompaniments need to enhance the experience. Well, The Team Room of Keystone Heights ticks all of these boxes and so much more! There are so many varieties of teas, and you are not served your own pot, but your own tea choice, meaning they go around with the hot water pot to add to your cup but you can select ANY of the large selection of teas for each round. You are not "stuck" with just the one pot you selected at the start. I love this! The tea bag holders on the table and how the loose leaf teas are served is just exceptional. So much attention to detail! The food was delicious! The menu may vary but we had a broccoli cheese soup that was absolute perfection, and the sandwiches are so tasty. My 15 year old son loved everything so much we asked if we could pay for an additional sandwich, but the lovely owner refused to take money and brought him extra sandwiches! The house made scones were perfect as were the accompanying portions of jam and clotted cream. There are many displays of tea pots and other fun knick knacks to look at, and the tea room itself is decorated with fun and whimsical signs and other wall hangings. There are a large selection of hats you can wear! Overall, it makes for a grand and exciting experience in addition to everything else. And the owner is such a delight! She is so friendly and helpful. You can tell she has an absolute passion to deliver the best tea room experience possible. Keystone Heights may be a little off the beaten path, and was an hour drive for us, but we can't wait to go back! Totally worth it. There is also a lovely gift shop you need to explore, and plenty of parking. Check them out soon and you will be so glad you did!

We stopped by here for a quick snack while on the way home from Gainesville for the day…read more My wife and I have always loved Powell's Dairy Freeze! Love their milkshakes and all their food items! It has the 50's drive-in feel vibe going on. You park and they walk up to your car and take your order. Or you can get out and walk up to the window. Back in the early 1990's when I was working as a truck driver out of Jacksonville a few times a month I would stop by Powell's for lunch when traveling through Starke. Today we ordered a milkshake. I ordered the Cookies & Cream Milkshake and it was delicious!!!! The waitress was very friendly. It took maybe 5 minutes to get our 4 milkshakes for all of us. * Definitely recommend you stop by Powell's for lunch/dinner/snacks while traveling through the Starke area.

As a high-performing young person in the food industry and retail industry in the past, I usually give young people the benefit of the doubt working in a setting like this one. However, this most recent experience was an absolute sh*tshow from beginning to end. It cannot possibly be that difficult to take an order from the counter or the calculate the price of 3 items. Somehow these team members made it look like it was more difficult than rocket science, and did so at the slowest rate of any burger joint I've ever seen in my entire life. From not being greeted once, to taking 10 minutes to even get to pay, to absolutely no apology for how long it took or even a "thank you" or "have a nice night." I can count on one hand the times I've ever left an establishment without leaving a 20% tip but I've never seen a more deserving group of people to do it to. As for the food - who would've guessed that bagging corn nuggets before getting the burger it took 10 minutes to make would result in a barely warm bag of corn nuggets? More mysterious, however, was how in the world the burger wasn't hot after all that time cooking. Do yourself a favor and walk away if it takes you 3 minutes of standing directly in front of the team members who are at the counter with no greeting. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt, no matter how much you once loved it. I'm grateful for the experience to teach me to stop vouching for small town stops if I haven't been there myself recently. Here's to hoping no one I recommended this place to recently has gone, or that they had a better experience than I did!
