Limited options on a Sunday brought us here for lunch. When we walked in, the place was pretty full, apparently this is where the locals hang out since the street outside was pretty deserted (maybe everyone was at mass!).
Since it's Sunday they had 2 menus. The Sunday specials and the regular menu. I ordered from the regular menu: Cajun wrap which was very tasty - only one mistake: theirs wraps are not closed at the bottom so it was a bit hard to eat. My friend got the roast pork and asked for a Yorkshire pudding. They gave her extra gravy and the pudding for feee which was really nice.
To finish off we had the sticky toffee pudding. It was a bit strange. More like a toffee sponge with caramel sauce than your typical toffee pudding (didn't have any dates and was very light and fluffy). It was good enough that we finished it all though, so if you don't mid the lack of dates, go for it!
Service was prompt and friendly. Good pub/lunch spot before or after exploring Enniscorthy. read more
