This said it is a backstreet pub and pretty much what I expected. Staff were friendly and chatty though but for the price of a pint you could pay the same for a quality establishment. The pub is army themed because the owners son is a war hero - a young man who served in Afghanistan and was highly awarded, including the Victory Cross for bravery for running at a sniper with a grenade.
