After doing business there for years, I learned of a terrible rule they had which was presented to…read moreme in the most uncouth way. I first went there and had no problems with staff. Girls at front were nice, PA's were mature and always knew what you were talking about. Then it started changing. It became a revolving door. I never saw the same face but one PA who came on Sat who had a heart of gold. But I knew enough that people were getting fired over quotas. It was disappointing. Anyway, I trudged on. Not long ago some comments were made about my age. I was 59. I'm not sure if everyone didn't get the memo but that is rude. THEN I turned 60. I was informed I couldn't get my medicine. THEN I was informed that I should go get a nuclear stress test. Now all the doors were open and my age is being discussed again with this test and everybody is talking at the same time. I had to just leave. But I know enough ex employees to know about the rule after 60 NOW. Man what a discriminatory rule. I would have been gone a long time ago if I had known that.

I went in with some neck and shoulder pain, I felt like my rib was out again. I just wanted an…read moreadjustment. I just moved to TN and needed to find a new chiropractor. When I called they said the xray and consult was free I would just have to pay for the adjustment they were runnin a special. After I was then told by Dr Kanan who has no bedside manner that if I didnt do his treatment I would need spinal surgery and most likely end up paralyzed and in a wheelchair. He proceeded to tell me I have a bulged disc, pinched nerve in my neck which I later found out you cannot even see on an xray. You would need an MRI. I was told my whole spine would be corrected top to bottom by Dr Craig his partner. They didnt take oictures of my low back or hip. They didnt hurt or have any pain at the time. I felt some improvement in my neck after the plasma protien injection that he charged me $1500 for But when Dr Kanan popped my lower back aggressively. He didnt even ask me breathe before he pooped me. Idk if he was in a hurry or what but going forward the pain increased significantly. I kept asking is this normal. I was assured discomfort was normal, however Dr Craig said we should probably slow down but when both myself and my fiancée sat down to talk to Dr Kanan about the increase in pain he took xrays and then proceeded to blamed me for it and got super defensive. It was very uncomfortable. He then proceeded tontell me I have to come more often and Id only be working with and not Dr Craig anymore. Unfortunately his treatment has left me in far worse pain then when I started. The pain has put me in the emergency room and makes my life miserable. I am waking up everyday in pain so bad I cry. I had some discomfort in my shoulder and neck before but I did not have extreme pain before going to see Dr Kanan and Dr Craig. We paid over six thousand dollars to be left in an even worse conditon then before. When I called to say I was discontinuing treatment due to pain and it puting me in the emergency they charged me another $144 to close my account. Not how can we make this right or any responsibility. I can tell you that this place is overpriced and overcharging for services you can get elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Do your research, shelbyville has beter options that are more affordable with people that actually care. This clinic falsely claims they are the best in the state with the newest equipment and that is false. The decompression equipment they have worked for maybe half of my treatments seems like not all the staff know how to set up the machines. So it was a hit or miss. I highly suggest going elsewhere for your chiropractic needs.

I started my journey with Melony 6 weeks ago and so far I have lost over 22 pounds. I have…read morestruggled with my weight ever since i retired from the US Army 16 years ago. I have gained and lost many pounds only to ultimately fail and return to being morbidly obese. Luckily i met Melony's husband who introduced me to her and I finally decided to take the plunge and hire a personal trainer/nutritional consultant. During our first meeting Melony took the time to understand where I am regarding my fitness/nutrition level and clearly explained what steps I needed to take to lose weight and get healthy. I appreciated her nutritional/fitness counseling and it has continued over the last five weeks. She is very easy to talk to and has a clear understanding of the difficulties of losing weight and what it takes to get healthy. What I needed was a fitness coach who cares and Melony does. I also like how she helps me feel accountable, there's something about hiring someone at the beginning of your journey and knowing you are going to weigh in weekly with them watching and "the scale don't lie". Since our first meeting we have met on average twice a week and she reviews my fitness app and we discuss what I am eating and what other fitness activities I am doing to help me reach my goal. Then we workout together. I appreciate the different exercises we do that not only improve my strength but help me with my agility. I can feel myself getting stronger and though I have a long way to go I'm glad I took the first step. In summary, I strongly recommend you choose Melony as your personal trainer and nutritionist. If your like me and have struggled with your weight and fitness, do yourself a favor and get the help you need. I'm glad i did and look forward to changing my life in a healthy way with Melony's help and guidance.

I started the program about 2 months ago and have already lost about 15 pounds. The only drawback is you have to have your blood pressure under control and that might be hard for someone that is overweight. The staff here are friendly and very knowledgeable and quick. When I go to renew my supplements I only stay anywhere from 5-10 minutes. They will give you a grocery shopping list when you first come in and guide you on how to eat. The visits are only 30$ and that includes the medication. If you want extra supplements that will be more money. Of course, you have to eat right and exercise a little to see results. If you take the supplements, exercise, and eat right, I guarantee you will see the pounds come off immediately.
