On October 26, 2024 I attended a beautiful Wedding located at The Atruim 139 Norcross Tucker Road Tucker, GA 30071 The Venue itself is gorgeous and can hold up to 200 guests. You can choose to get married indoors or outdoors. Ida, the Event Planner, was very welcoming, very attentive, very available when needed and very professional. Ida, provided Outstanding customer service and I would definitely choose her to plan my Wedding. The Bride, Groom and their Wedding party have two separate dressing rooms so everyone can get dress once you arrive at the location. My wedding at The Atrium/Flint Hill had two different stories: The wedding day was fantastic, but the planning was a nightmare. I suspect the positive reviews reflect the former. I will share advice that I wish I had received before making a 50% deposit. My rating is based on the planning. The day of would get 4 stars. - We were glad we had an outside wedding planner to be our ally. If you've never planned an event like this, you might not realize that you can easily be taken advantage of. - They provide a lot of staff on the day of the event, but some of them were people we had never met. We had an eight-minute call with our "Day of Reception Director" the week before the wedding. She is a part-time (weekends) employee who doesn't even have a company email address. - We were dazzled by Melissa's sales pitch. She spent 2 hours with us when we came in for a tour and it was great. We thought she would be a great ally in this process. She was super friendly and helpful through the contract process until we paid 50%. - We needed to read every version of the updated invoice to catch price changes. The price of our dessert was $9 until one day it was $9.50. They charged us $150 for early arrival with a $150 credit to cancel it out. One day that credit had changed from $150 to $2. Laura from the design studio "accidentally" increased the price of some tablecloths by $5 each. - Their contracts sometimes expire after two days, and they said we needed to sign before getting answers to our questions. This happened with 2 contract addendums. We asked questions. Melissa said "Any specific detail changes to this contract will be handled in the extended planning sessions." - They marginalized me while behaving towards my husband. We had a recurrent problem where I would send an email, no response, husband reminds them, and they respond quickly. One time they ignored my email for five days. When he replied to my note, they responded to him within the hour. I don't know if it's because he's a man, he makes more money than I do, or they simply didn't like me. - If we didn't get it in writing, they often denied it. There are numerous topics that I am certain we discussed verbally but unfortunately I didn't have it in writing. With the issue mentioned above, they insisted we never discussed it, and they only agreed to do it because we found written confirmation. - We needed to spend at least $2,000 at their design studio, but we didn't have any trouble exceeding the minimum. We had very minimal design requirements, brought in an outside florist for the bouquets, and our initial quote was over $1,900, not counting the $700 tablecloth rental. - Menu changes come with an upcharge. You only get to put out one salad dressing. If you want your guests to have a choice, there is an $0.50 per person. Mashed potatoes come with no toppings. Want to add something as simple as sour cream or chives? One dollar per person for each topping. - We paid more than 80% of the adult rate for children aged 4-9. Children starting at age 10 are charged full price. The menu says "reduced rate" for children, but the aren't mentioned until much later in the process. They get a 20% discount on the base price for the buffet, but they are full price for drinks, dessert, and add-ons. I don't know if they would also be charged 100% for drink packages with alcohol. - We had to convince them to let us have a menu tasting. They offered us a "tasting box" with six items from another event's menu but only one or two from our menu. None of these options had our main dishes included. They said the point of a tasting box is to understand the quality of the food, not our specific menu. I want to thank Kristin, the CEO, for her help. Two months before our wedding, she allowed us to switch from the Atrium to Flint Hill (for a cost of $3,500) The change in venue couldn't fix corporate policies and staff difficulties though. Atrium specific advice: - You will probably want to get ready offsite. The bridal suite is very small. There were 4 of us getting ready, and the room would have been too small. The groom's room is more like a walk-in closet than a room. These rooms are both upstairs with no bathroom. If anyone in your party is unable to get up the staircase, they will be getting ready in the public bathroom on the main floor. - If the bride and groom want to have some quiet time after the ceremony, it will be in the bridal room with no bathroom. Want to wash your hands or touch up your makeup? You need to go downstairs to the bathroom that the guests are all using. - You need a wifi backup plan. We were told that the wifi there is "spotty". When I asked why, they said "because this used to be a bank." I don't know how that is relevant because I have visited many banks that have adequate wifi. The Atrium and Devine Event Studio DELIVERED! My husband and I knew this was the venue for us from day one! The venue alone is breath taking to the point you dot have to do too much with decor... From the beginning Sarah was so warm and welcoming! I then had the pleasure of working with the design studio to go over decor details, flowers , etc! They do everything in house so all you have to worry about are the extras! Jessica was so helpful , timely, passionate, and understanding! she helped me stay around my budget for such a beautiful day! When I tell you my guest were RAVING! I HIGHLY recommend The atrium! you wont be disappointed with this hidden gem in Norcross! The also have other properties around Georgia that are equally as breath taking if you cant decide! I was shopping for wedding venues and loved the Atrium! Granted, we decided on another venue that is its sister property, it was definitely our runner up. Location wise, it's hidden in Norcross, literally 50 yards from Flint Hill, another sister property. Atrium offers Saturday group tours at 9AM and individual appointments during the weekdays. I was squeezed in last minute on the weekend tour, when there was a spot open due to a cancellation from the other party. Didn't realize that the tour would actually cover both the Flint Hill and Atrium property, but really enjoyed the tour as it gave more options. The tour starts at Flint Hill and make its way to the Atrium. I've seen all the sister properties, except one that is in Athens and what was special about Atrium was that it was more modern than the others. It has its cute garden with renovated walkway (no longer cobblestones) to the gazebo that had an Grecian feel to it and wide windowed walls overlooking the garden for the reception with modern carpet/dance floor. It had everything I really wanted, which was like an European garden feel and romantic reception area with windowed walls. I guess the only drawback was that it was a bit small overall. I'm looking to have a small wedding (100 to 120) and Atrium would have accommodated it just fine, but besides the ceremony and the reception area, there really wasn't much wiggle room for guests. Wouldn't know where the guests would go when the reception room would have to be flipped on a rainy day... which ultimately led me to choose a different property. But definitely, if you're having a small intimate wedding, Atrium would be great. So, at the end of the tour, the tour guide (Mallory) provides you your individual estimated costs based on your specific dates and options along with their folder of preferred vendor, guidelines, menu, and so on. I've only been to only one non-Magic Moments property and seriously a big difference! I loved that all the Magic Moments property really provides a detailed tour that goes over every nooks and crannies and provide you your customized estimate for your wedding dat at the end! I recently planned a surprise, vow renewal for my wife of 25 years on May 12th, 2023, and was looking for the ideal spot to have it and I came across the Atrium. My wedding was everything I could have imagined! The venue is BEAUTIFUL. The staff super helpful, patient, and professional. The food is AMAZING...My cake was DELICIOUS. After looking around at many wedding venues for a couple of months my fiance and I decided that we liked this place the best. In house caterer (food, cake and beverages), In house decorator (in charge of centerpieces and other design elements), In house planner (day of and all the days before), In house bridal events (It's called Romancing the Bride and it is awesome), there is just so much that's done in-house that it's amazing. It's a complete stress relief to be able to find a place like this. To be honest, after looking at a lot of bare bones venues, I was starting to freak out about chairs, tables, tents, linens, silverware, barware, tableware, lighting, flower vendors, cake vendors, caterers that charge an arm and a leg, etc etc. You have no idea how much a relief it was to sign with The Atrium. So far our event planner has been more than helpful and always answers questions the day of. The Romancing the Bride event introduced us to all the recommended vendors and let us sample all the lovely food (it was really good!). Also, someone always answers the phone which is amazing. I can not tell you how many voicemails I have gotten from venues who only work 9-3 Mon-Thurs and only give tours during those hours. Avoid those at all costs. The Atrium and Flint Hill have a joint tour at 9AM on Saturdays which I was able to make even though I lived in NY at the time (I was in town for the weekend). Most of the other venues I looked at were only open during the weekdays and therefore my poor fiance had to scope them out first since I was working in NY on the weekdays. The Atrium is beautiful. It has a great outdoors ceremony site and the indoors has two stories so you can get those great birds view shots. We can't wait to have our wedding here. read more

My Dear Dear Atrium Staff. Where do I start. I began planning in 2019.. from day one your team was extremely accommodating. You were patient and listened to all of my concepts and designs to bring together my dream wedding. We were full steam ahead to March 2020.. but then Covid hit and I was heartbroken to have to cancel. Family and friends were frantic but the Atrium worked with me to re-align my wedding to 2021. On 8/15/21 I walked into thee most gorgeous venue with every detail I wanted right in place. I had to have my eye makeup touched up lol. Yes the tears were flowing. Jessica White I'm sure I gave you a few headaches with all of my ideas, and questions lol Thank you for being so patient, kind and bringing everything I wanted to life. Beautiful venue.... very well landscaped. The inside is perfect. Makes you feel very comfortable. The food was delicious as well.

My husband and I had our wedding here, and we absolutely loved it. Even from when we visited the venue for a tour, everyone on the staff was incredible helpful, friendly, and informative. They prepare a whole folder specifically for you and you sit down at the end of the tour and look at exactly what having your wedding there would cost you. Through the planning process, you have several meetings with your planner and wedding director, and Carrie and Sara were absolutely wonderful at corresponding with us and answering any and all questions we had. They really made our vision for our wedding come to life, and the event space and the day were even more beautiful and seamless than we could have imagined. The food was absolutely wonderful. My husband is Korean, and we had several Korean guests attend the wedding so we wanted some Korean options on the menu. All of our guests raved about how wonderful the food was, especially the Korean menu items. The flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous, and the lighting and setup was just as we had imagined and better. The day was seamless, and I would absolutely recommend the Atrium to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. read more

The Atrium - Magic Moments, A Divine Event Overall The event went as seamlessly as possible. With the imminent rain forecast, I was stressed out, but it went great! The rain miraculously held off until the reception when things were moved indoors anyway. Even with the added traditional Korean ceremony in between the wedding ceremony and reception, things went smoothly! By the way, the train DID go through, RIGHT in the MIDDLE of the ceremony!! Luckily, our officiant ran with it and it was pretty laughable. Sales Team Mallory was on top of it. She was extremely prompt and helpful when we had questions via Email. If she needed to ask somebody else a question, she did, and was proactive. Each time we discussed something new, she sent us a detailed invoice, which really helped us make decisions for the event. Planner Sasha was a pleasure to work with. Even when we kept changing little things here and there, she never made a big deal out of it. Sasha was prompt when answering Emails and adding/changing/taking out things from our event timeline. The rain-plan sketch was also delivered, even though the rain held out! Our planning meetings were quick and all the necessary things were covered. Sasha was cool as a cucumber. Design Studio We were very happy with the decor. Everything looked beautiful! The initial meeting with the design studio was mediocre, as many of my questions weren't answered with pictures or examples. All the pictures of examples didn't seem too up-to-date and I wish they would have had more to show. I'm more of a visual person. Good thing I brought my own examples of ideas I had pinned to my Pinterest. Next, on the wedding day, I never checked to see if the flowers from the ceremony outside were actually repurposed inside for the reception as discussed. Also, I wish somebody would have asked me about what to do with the flowers at the end of the night. Everything was crazy busy, and it was just a thought after the fact. I would have loved to take home some of the flowers! Food (quality, flavor, presentation) Even though it was monkey-brains-insane on the wedding day, we did opt to do the private meal upstairs in the bridal suite. THANK GOD we decided to do this. It was the perfect time for us to take a breath and actually eat, instead of starve while being pulled in all directions downstairs with the guests. The quality of food was good. I thought the appetizers were much better than the entrees, personally. I loved the spanakopita. It was on-point--crispy and fluffy on the outside, warm and cheesy-spinach goodness on the inside. The texture and flavor were awesome. I was also very pleased with the spicy Thai beef on endive. The meat was not chewy and the flavors went well together. The jalapeno cheese was meh. The salmon was a bit dry and bland, but nothing terrible. The salad was wonderful. So much so, in fact, that I heard the guests ran out of the salad pretty early on. I don't think all my guests got to enjoy the beautiful summer salad mixed greens. I also hear we ran out of the bourbon peppercorn flank steak, again disappointing. I don't know if that means it was just too delicious or the portion was just too small. I tried it and thought it was good, but a bit too tough. We did thoroughly appreciate the to-go baskets that were packed. We devoured it all that same night after midnight...after I was changed and comfortable, haha. Event Staff No large complaints about the event staff, other than the before-mentioned early food shortage. In hindsight, I wish we would have hired an extra bartender. I didn't know how backed up the lines would get. Also, I know my now-husband was turned down for trying to order 5 drinks for his friends/family, but that's probably a law issue and not a service issue at all. The event staff made things fluid and were very professional. Wedding Director Logan was very prompt in all her replies, via Email and text. The rehearsal went well and she made us all feel at ease. She's a pleasure! I know (after the fact) that there were a few snafus on the wedding day--none of which were her fault at all. Maybe Logan and the DJ butted heads a few times, she had to confiscate a friend's drink before the event, there were some disagreements between the groom's family and the photographer (timing-wise), the food shortage issue, and a few others. BUT, honestly, Logan did her best to accommodate and communicate. My sister (maid of honor) felt like the way she communicated was not the best at times, but God knows her job is probably one of the hardest. Thank you, Logan! read more

Great food! and dessert trays...the mushrooms in the pasta were great and also the steak was very solid. The dessert tray had amazing truffles, chocolate bark, and brownies. The place is a bit hard to find since google maps has it wrong and you can't really see it from the outside street but rather only see the sign to go in. Once you are in its easy to park in the lots and enter. its 2 floors where the top has 3 rooms and a balcony set up where we had our photographer..on the bottom there is area for food, there is a bar, and dance floor. The drinks were pretty strong when we had an event here and they venue held enough room for over 100 people at tables and then also dancing. read more

Let me start out with I have always loved this venue. I knew I wanted a small, intimate wedding but still with a modern feel to it. We did the tour in fall of 2014. They combine the tour with Flint Hill across the street which was a complete contrast to the Atrium. What I loved about Flint Hill was there was a lot more mingling room, but I felt that the venue would be too big for my 100 guests limit. They previously had a cobbled stone floor outside in the garden area and shortly before our wedding, they redid it to what it looks like now. I was really glad that they did (as much as I loved the cobblestone) since I'm not really great on my feet. The Atrium and Magic Moments made logistics a breeze. They have pretty much thought of everything and a timeline of when to meet them and what the agenda was for the meeting. I met with Divine Events (their décor team) and started playing around with center pieces, flower décor, and etc. I was really pleased on how the décor turned out. We had an April wedding and we didn't know that the bushes that surrounded the garden were light pink and magenta azalea bushes! It was a huge surprise to us when we arrived for our rehearsal the Friday before. It made a beautiful flower wall backdrop for a lot of our photos. The food was great! I had so many compliments on it. I am so glad they fed us before during cocktail hour because we didn't really get a chance to eat very much. My favorites were the brie tartlets and the gemelli pasta. We had our butter pecan cake made through the Atrium/Divine Events by For Goodness Cakes. I found the cake design on Pintrest and it was pretty much the exact replica. I loved the cake so much that I now go through For Goodness Cakes for all my cake needs. I loved the ladies I worked with. Sasha took care of getting all our needs pre-wedding and she helped us organize the venue with arranging our table numbers and tea ceremony. We had some miscommunication on a sign/personal item and décor expenses and she definitely helped clear that up for us. Melissa was our day of coordinator. I would recommend her to anyone that is having their wedding at The Atrium. She fixed any hiccups that happened with our guests, décor, logistics, etc to the point that I didn't notice any of them. She was super professional and I don't think I would have had the perfect day that I had without her. For the negatives (and I am nitpicking): according to our guests, parking was a little difficult. There were not any reserved spots like I requested for our parents and grandparents. Our guest book/poster was really out of the way since guest were instructed to go around the building to the garden when they first went in. So half of our guests didn't sign our guest book that was located by the door. During the ceremony, my guests sitting in the front row said that they could hear a generator behind the bushes and it was hard to hear the officiant and our vows. Not everyone got a piece of cake. We were not planning on saving the top cake so everyone got a piece. All in all it was a perfect day. read more

Perfection! That's the best word to describe our experience with The Atrium. From the initial tour of the venue up until the last few seconds of our wedding day, their staff and planners were sensational. We chose The Atrium because of the beautifully draped ballroom and the perfectly manicured garden. Another motivating factor was that it's a one stop shop. They handle your food, decor, planning and day of coordination. We were originally scheduled to get married on April 4, 2020 until the Covid 19 pandemic occurred and we had to postpone until June 6th. Our amazing planner Jessica kept us abreast of all changes that would be necessary to make our day a success. It was a very smooth process. We remained confident in the abilities of our planner, A Divine Event ( their amazing food caterer) and A Design Studio (their amazing design/decor team) and they did not disappoint. When ever anyone mentions being engaged or mentions getting married we refer them to The Atrium. read more

I highly recommend the Atrium and all of their professionals that work within the company. My fiancé and I picked this venue because we needed a place that was all inclusive and a well oiled machine. I have been in the wedding industry for years and it felt good to RELEASE all control to the hands of these amazing professionals. Brides..including myself, get caught up in the "Pinterest/ Instagram worthy" weddings and that's great, but If you don't HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA money then sometimes it seems like those dreams for us budget friendly brides are untouchable. I never felt like I needed to be and or have a "luxury" budget with the staff at the Atrium. They worked their magic to make sure that my husband and I had a BEAUTIFUL EVENT. We had major financial hiccups closer to the wedding and they just pivoted with us, again showing the utmost professionalism and empathy; within the guidelines of their policies. I was looking for a one stop shop for my July wedding so I wouldn't have to stress about coordinating multiple vendors and my guests wouldn't have to travel between the ceremony and reception. The Atrium and Magic Moments were a perfect fit. The Atrium has a pretty garden with neoclassical gazebo and beautiful flagstone ceremony area. The building itself is pretty simple with a large room for the reception with a cool loft overlooking. But don't understimate the simplicity. When you see the place lit up at night it is breath taking! Magic Moments did a wonderful job coordinating the entire thing. The food was wonderful and our wedding director was fantastic! We had one quick conversation with her the week of the wedding and she ran everything exactly the way we wanted without a single hiccup. The only complaint I had was that there were 2 rehearsals scheduled before my ceremony so we did not have access to the garden area until after 6:30p and with my guests arriving around 7p that left no time for pictures in the garden until after the ceremony. But we were allowed access to Flint Hill (across the street) and were able to get many gorgeous shot there. read more

I did not have my wedding here, but unfortunately some friends did and it went down hill fast! I will never go to an event there again & you couldn't pay me to have my wedding there either! First, they were unaccommodating when it came to bridal party/guest arrival, my s/o was in the bridal party, but I was not. I arrived with him and some other friends a bit early. We carpooled because parking is very limited & somewhat difficult at that location. We were told that we could not wait inside because they were still setting up, but that the bride and groom were taking pictures outside, so that we couldn't wait their either. We ended up waiting in our cars for nearly 20 minutes. Next, came the food, the couple getting married was told that the menu is final and that no changes or substitutions would be made. Which is all well and good until you realize that people were allergic to literally everything on the menu. I kid you not, between myself and a friend we were allergic to EVERYTHING! I have a major allergy to citric acid, which is found in a great number of things, but is especially strong in lemons, limes, oranges, strawberries and tomatoes and he is deathly allergic to garlic, of all things. Every single main course had one of these things in it. When I asked the woman who was fixing the paella not to add tomatoes to mine I was told that they didn't do substitutions and that if she made an exception for me then she would have to do it for everyone. All I could safely eat was the bread, I couldn't even have the cake! I did eventually get some paella after a bridesmaid complained to the head chef on my behalf, but still ended up picking up fast food on the way home because I wasn't going to risk causing a further scene for seconds. Finally, there was no assistance when a little girl got hurt and was bleeding. One of the ushers had to go to his car to get his first aid kit! We told someone and they said that they would get someone else, but nobody ever came back. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place for the bride that is looking to save money or wants a part in doing anything herself (i.e. table decorations, flowers, reception decorations, etc.) This place has a strict policy that everything except bridal party flowers MUST be "rented" (for 3-4x what it costs to BUY items) from them. Very irritating. The food was phenomenal. The decorations were completely wrong. I wanted leaves from local trees in fall colors scattered around a tall candle with a floating candle in the middle of the tables at the reception. Sarah at the design studio (see "Devine Events") told me all of their leaves were hand picked the day of. Completely untrue. They came straight from Kroger, every one looking exactly the same ( long skinny yellow with weird red tips) and looked so fake the wedding planner went and touched them because she was alarmed too. Good thing I paid $10 a table for just the leaves that someone picked up the day of....If you want a wedding where everything is very hands off and everyone else gets to make everything for you, this is the place. If you are trying to control your budget, and the quality of the over all look of your wedding, RUN. read more
