I've been going here for nearly 6 months and have had a lot of experience to be able to leave this review. This place is truly INTEGRATIVE and HOLISTIC. They are experts in so many areas that make up the full picture of healing and thriving as opposed to just one area, and in my experience, holistic healing is the only way to go. I spent over 3 years looking for help through traditional doctors, experiencing symptoms that got worse and worse and no one could give me any answers. I have several important criteria in selecting a physician and clinic in which I can place my trust and my health. The doctor and his staff need to be caring people who not only display skill and competence in their areas of expertise, but they must do so in a way that expresses care, empathy and personal attention to me as their patient. The Ash Center is unique as it fully meets and exceeds my requirements. Dr. Lyon and his staff members treat me with overwhelming courtesy and respect. They listen to me as I provide my stories and my issues - there is never any dismissiveness or trivialization of the patient's input. They are fully versed in medical and alternative treatments. Unlike standard medical practitioners whose specialties prevent them from seeing the big picture - Dr. Lyon and his staff are experts in nutrition, alternative therapies, energy medicine, body-mind philosophy and techniques - and provide a choice of physical/hands on manipulations that are superb. Dr Ash and The Ash Center have totally revolutionized my life and health completely over the past few years through helping me detect my food allergies, so I could then eliminate them from my diet. The severe allergies and asthma that I struggled with since childhood have improved dramatically since avoiding the foods I'm allergic to. Even during allergy season, when my allergies used to be out of control, I am totally fine, rarely ever even needing a tissue, and having even weaned myself off of my asthma medication. As a teacher, where I used to get sick all the time in picking up just about every virus that the children passed around, I now am sick so much less often, only a few times a year in fact as opposed to being sick every 3 weeks/month. I have also introduced families of the two year olds I teach to the Ash Center, children whose all around health, allergies and asthma have also markedly improved.
