I particularly like stores that have year-round holiday vinyl and Hot Poop does. Like others before me it is the prices that kept me from purchasing anything. I don't know if they would barter or negotiate but if you're like me and follow prices on Discogs you will understand. I am a business person and if this were my store I would lower my margins and focus more turnover of inventory to make it a destination for vinyl lovers.

For a place built on the spirit of rock and roll, they sure don't seem to care about doing right by their customers . I wasn't asking for a refund--just something of equal value that actually works. If ripping people off is part of their business model, they're doing a stellar job. If not, they might want to learn the difference between "no returns" and "no integrity." Buy your gear somewhere else. Preferably where quality and customer service still mean something.

Although it doesn't excuse the reaction from employee that I recently experienced; As a believer we are called into account to empathize with each other and forgive each other. The owner has a huge heart for service and this community. None of us are perfect and we need eachother. There are always 2 sides to the story as well, so I am sure from her perspective she felt like she was doing the right thing in the moment. Long story short, Went in to get a bible engraved for a young man who I am mentoring that I planned to give the engraved bible to this young man to encourage him in a very tough time in his life, none of the rest of the experience matters after talking with owner, thank you for your time on the phone.
