It's obviously not the biggest, but it has just about everything you could need to get a great workout, whether you like cardio, powerlifting or anything in between. The staff at Snap takes a lot of pride in keeping the gym neat and spotless. Every time I'm in there, I see staff wiping down equipment, mirrors, windows, etc. Fresh, clean towels and wipes are also provided for members. They really value their clients and work hard to show it. One of the greatest keys to success in fitness is consistently showing up for exercise. The vibe at Snap is more enjoyable than the large gyms and I find myself wanting to go everyday. I'd highly encourage anyone considering gyms to give Snap a shot...and I hope you love it as much as I do!

They have done an outstanding job. My personal favorite however is the yoga. We have been provided with yoga instructors that are experienced and knowledgeable in leading classes in which most of the participants are older and not as nimble as they once were. They help us with modifications and are very aware of each student's special needs, offering input and information to help make it a better practice, but always challenging us. Each person is comfortably able to go at his or her own pace. The instructors seem to love the class as much as we do. Since starting yoga there 9 months ago, I rarely miss a class because it has helped me so much to be more functional. I am stronger and my balance is improved. I feel more fit than before even though I was a dedicated exerciser before I started. The class has gained a following and is growing larger all the time because it is truly a great experience. My most recent class was with the owner, Trevor, who was teaching for one of his instructors and I was surprised that an owner of such a facility was also an accredited yoga teacher. Once again, it was a great class in step with his other instructors. There are always scheduling issues with any class, but one can be assured that if you have a substitute while doing classes with Innovative, it will be a really good class. I don't want to overuse adjectives here, but I love these classes, they are truly wonderful experiences and make me feel so much better. Also, the clientele seemed to be mostly college aged, and it was slightly busy around 3PM on a weekday. Just didn't make sense given the equipment, crowd, and overall membership price, which is kind of on the high side. When you sign up at this gym they're going to offer you for a free "Scan and Plan" appointment, I heavily advise not to do this. I showed up for my scan and plan not knowing what it was because they don't tell you beforehand (common indicator of unethical practices) just for the "trainer" to say he didn't have enough time for me, take me around the gym to do three sets of random exercises, and then sit me down and ask for an insane amount of money for his obviously underwhelming training. I hate how in college station there's such a surplus of people that salesmen can act super hubristic and get exactly what they want. I'm heavily advising to use planet fitness instead, but if you still choose here, keep your guard up not to get scammed. And then yea the obvious: equipment, locker rooms, parking lot, the building itself are all low-quality so expect that. Additionally, this is the one gym I've ever been to where the workers never go into the workout space near the patrons, so the weights are all scattered, no rules are enforced, and you'll look over to see the employees messing around in their corner. Legit the only gym I've ever seen where racking your weights isn't a thing so don't be surprised to see random plates to be anywhere and everywhere. Last thing just for giggles: I was once talking to the operations manager about a super simple task: just sending me my billing statements like any normal gym on planet Earth. But the second she saw I left the gym without paying my last bill, she could not control herself. While talking to a customer, as a manger and representative of the TruFit company, she decided the best move was to call me out and say that TruFit would ruin my credit. And the crazy part is we weren't even talking about that. I was just asking for the statements. She got so bothered by my request she had to make it personal. It's just comical, bro.
