We rented the American Legion hall on 12/30/2025 for a funeral service, and I'm very grateful for the experience Chip provided for us. The space was clean and easily accessible for our older family members joining us. Chip allowed us to come in early the morning of the services to set up and prepare which made a difficult day feel more manageable. The bar staff were kind, professional, and attentive. Chip handled everything with care and respect and was willing to help out where we needed it. I truly appreciate the compassion and professionalism shown by him. The only concern we experienced involved an interaction with a staff member named Tina. Unfortunately, her demeanor was unwelcoming and lacked the level of professionalism we expected for such a sensitive occasion. Due to our funeral service ending earlier than anticipated, our family arrived approximately 30 minutes early. During this time, she declined to provide water to our elderly family members and veterans--some of whom were in uniform--and would not allow us to bring in water bottles to ensure their comfort even making us take water away from the elderly veterans drinking from bottles. Our family has never felt so disrespected by someone before over a simple thing such as water. Chip is the only reason we will hopefully be using this hall in the future. read more

My review is based as a guest for a reception celebrating my girlfriend life as she recently passed away. Great big venue with traditional restrooms. Many round tables and a little side bar but only plastic cups. Nothing fancy but it works. Sorry I don't know the prices either. Back patio is nice and big. A kitchen area and an area to eat. Lots of room to mingle. Over all we all enjoyed our gathering. It was safe and clean. Security is out and about but no cocktails outside the building. Because of it's location and time of year the air smells really sweet. Lots of pine trees +sage+roses and fresh water. Really pretty over all area with lush surrounding green vegetation. Easy parking and easy to find. read more

Came here for a special celebration for my friend's family. There were plenty of parking spaces. This place seemed old, has a lot of historical characters, and most importantly well maintained. There were two security guards at the door, and they were friendly. It was a hot day, and the air conditioning is running in a nice temperature. There was an open bar, and some older ladies were running it. They are all friendly, and price was reasonable. read more

Don't have your private event here. It's a nightmare. The venue is great but the staff is atrocious and the neighbors are nosey. My wife's parents had to clean the back patio themselves in their Wedding clothes on a late June afternoon because the venue promised to clean it 3 times but never did clean it properly, which was especially dirty because they feed stray cats here. The cats were hanging out where we told the venue we planned to serve food and they see no problem with it. The venue literally handed my wife's parents a mop and bucket when they went to complain the day of, and my wife's parents are Mexican immigrants who don't speak English very well. They missed out post-Wedding Mass pictures to do the work that the staff refused to do. To top it off, we heard the staff complaining that our guests arrived 30 minutes early then left 30 minutes late, which we tipped them to compensate for and it was also the middle of a heat wave with guests coming from out of town. We also had to pack up a 150+ person wedding reception ourselves immediately after it ended to only hear those complaints, which represents our overall experience of this place. And that was just the day of problems. The American Legion is a great organization but we need to pray for these people. read more

Do not rent from this place!! There goal is to keep your deposit. It's has happened to many people including me. The alcohol is WAY!!! To expensive and served in small cups. They nitpick everything. And try to keep your deposit. I was told one of my guests and Dropped some food on the table barely noticeable. That cost me 550 dollars.. read more
