In the class, we repeatedly went over the techniques until we had confidence with using an AED machine, administering CPR, helping a choking person, and applying First Aid to someone who is bleeding. My 3-12-23 training was all of the aforementioned and so much more delivered by instructor Marcus Jones. He melded critical data, science, compassion and humor all within a concise two-hour class. I left confident that if need be, I can do this. Enroll in classes online for both in person and online training however, I was unable to access https://www.bhcpr.org to include a link to training in this update for such both yesterday and today. Perhaps the site is being reconfigured? Found message: "This account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information." Until aforementioned issue is resolved, best to call to schedule essential training in CPR/AED, BLS, First Aid, Blood Born Pathogens (required for OSHA workers) or schedule an outreach event for your business or family @ (310) 281-2753 because when you do, it's the right thing to do... The class was about 2 hours, followed with a 25 question text at the end. Class was very well structured and hands on! Great experience. After my BLS class, the Hospital Fire safety class began. I truly learned many techniques and great knowledge about fire extinguishers, hospital protocol on evacuation, and about home sprinklers. I even learned how to use a fire extinguisher and 5 different ways on how to transport patients out in an emergency. Totally enjoyed class, really learned many things I did not know. Took this class years ago. Firstly, way too expensive for what you get. The third class is a photo…read moreshoot and you are given all photos of your looks to start your portfolio. Somehow two of my three looks "got lost" and I never received them. They took no accountability and told me that all photos that were taken should be included in the Dropbox but that wasn't the case. My looks were nowhere. Additionally, right after I brought this up to them I stopped receiving emails for internships and opportunities for their job board. It definitely wasn't a coincidence. They told me that I "unsubscribed" (which I didn't) and there was no way to re-add me back on the list.. doesn't even sound believable. I spent thousands of dollars and it was a waste. I don't even think this is a business anymore but if it is, steer clear :)

Have no idea why they call it as NEW, probably jsut PR, it's the same old course from 2015.. Really fun how they promote that class as NEW.. There was NOTHING new. The information they give is just for beginners. The price is greatly overestimated! Seriously, you can find all this information from books, almost for free.
