Communal narcissism runs rampant in healthcare. I've learned that through medical gaslighting and through my own working experience with neglectful or abusive staff. Dr. Hamidian has displayed nothing short of defensiveness, blame-shifting, and a red herring tactic.aldo a complete disregard and lack of trauma centered focus. She's displays a total lack of empathy and professional manner towards vulnerable populations. I very much demonstrate Autism Level 1 traits but not to the full extent of D. Hamidian's report. The intake coordinator misconstrued some details I explained, especially about my extensive trauma history. Before I even received the online assessments, I already received a treatment plan and got assigned to a therapist. The treatment plan in no way shaped my faults and character. Plus it was overly generalized. This caused me some emotional distress over the months I was back and forth trying to change apartments based on my stress level or busy level. I complained about the experience that caused me stress and anxiety to HR. I agreed to make a video visit with Dr. Hamidian. During the visit, Dr. Hamidian repeatedly interrupted me and once again took some details out of context. Then she wrote another harsh and inaccurate report about me without knowing much about me. I emailed her 4-5 times in regards to my thoughts and feelings -- requesting corrections. Yes I want blunt in my emails because I wanted to be clear how upset I was with her unprofessionalism. She replied that she would modify the review, then she didn't reply again for 3 weeks. I left a thoughtful but critical review which she responded to two days later. She was highly defensive and unprofessional in her email. I replied back and forth until we were about to meet on 03/30 in person. Despite my fatigue, I conversed and reciprocated for 1 1/2 hours with Dr. Hamidian. But go ahead and tell me that I don't know how to hold conversations. Dr. Hamidian spent much of the time being inappropriate, defensive, and manipulative. For someone who said she wasn't bothered, she was very clearly proving my point. She has no business in the field because she can't handle criticism and having her ideas challenged. I have become introverted and highly selective due to my extensive trauma history. This can have its cons, but it is not inherently bad. Dr. Hamidian didn't seem to understand that. She assumed that I am incapable of expressing my empathy when my life has been the opposite. Being a loner doesn't mean I'm incapable of expressing empathy and compassion. It is because of my empathy, trauma, and autism that attracts narcissists. Manipulative people don't antagonize other mean people. They chase after big-hearted people who stand out. More years of trauma has led to me becoming less empathic towards cruel or such ignorant like Dr. hamidian. It seems to me like Dr. Hamidian only had her self-interest in mind. She tried to lower the bar by deflecting by bringing up my work history and old misdemeanor multiple times in a manipulative way. My work history is more stable now because I'm doing what I love. I was facing so much harassment and discrimination in other workplace, especially customer service. That does not define my work ethic, but it does define my self care and self worth. As for the misdemeanor, I have already been open about how my mental health was at its lowest and no one would help me. Catering to people and people pleasing is not safe for trauma survivors. Yet here she was berating me for not caring what others think and refusing to force myself in uncomfortable situations. Dr. Hamidian displayed a lack of listening skills, highly defensive attitude , and manipulation of power. I know narcissistic traits when I see them. I have AuDHD and CPTSD -- I have heightened pattern cognition. Don't play me for an idiot. As usual, I should've listened to my gut and stayed away. That was my error. This is a review written by a high functioning neurodivergent and trauma survivor. I'm mentally ill, not incompetent or stupid. Dr. Hamidian tried to gaslight me and say that my last review was not an autistic voice. Dr. Hamidian does not me for me or anyone in the autistic community. read more

My son and I had an incredible experience with all the staff at the Aaron's Center.. they all were so polite and professional. I've been fighting for the last 4 years trying to help find a diagnosis, to what was been going on with my son, while waiting for any diagnosis, he fell into a deep depression. This year he started high school and things just got worse for him. Only a couple of weeks ago I heard about this place and they quickly got us in. We immediately felt welcome and they took my son case seriously, asking all the right questions. The had genetic testing, that explain why nothing has been working for him. They were very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that I understand. They explain my son's diagnosis and immediately gave me advice on how to move forward so that we can give my son a better quality of life!! So thankful for all of you!! read more

My 5 year old son's mental health journey has been very challenging. After working without much success with other less competent and less empathetic agencies, navigating the broken systems, I was referred to the Aaron Center and could not be more pleased. Dr Hamidian, Dr Jennings and his nurse Corrine have just been a godsend. My son in a short amount of time has gone from near constant crisis to happy and thriving. Definitely don't waste your time trying to make an appointment with a doctor at this place. It was listed as a provider by my insurance company however when I called I waited 25 minutes on hold only to be told if I want an evaluation I need to attend courses for 90 days prior to a doctor visit. I would put less than 1 star if it were an option! Speaking from personal knowledge.... this place hires staff ex: BHTs.... with not only zero education but zero knowledge. Couple weeks ago our pediatrician was going to recommend The Aron Center. Before she could finish speaking I told her NO! If somebody is going to get paid, spend the day with somebody we love... it WILL NOT be an uneducated person with an attitude thinking they are a pro that knows absolutely nothing. This person has video taped an elementary class (including the teacher speaking, faces of staff and children) them sent out over the internet to friends joking about how her client was sliding on back out of his chair. This would be the part where she should have been redirecting her client!! Not taking video and sharing over the internet!! I have personally seen pictures taken of a client (by same BHT worker) There is a child sitting in a black, metal basket. She goes on to say... Not allowed to do this but I do!!! When he refuses to walk (one of clients behaviors) I put him in here and drag it even though we're not supposed to put kids in it. Does this sound like a person you want responsible for a CHILD you love?? This is a joke to her!! Shame, Shame... sounds like The Aron Center needs to give this worker a PSYC EVALUATION! After working with this company you're definitely going to need therapy. If you come from or have a medical background, quick learner, don't ask too many questions &, can teach yourself things that this place should be teaching you, this job is right up your alley. Let's not even go into the cattiness of some of the women working there, that's another story in itself. The HR manager is wonderful at what she does. The "managers" & "IT Department"...they're an absolute joke and a half. This place is run like a shady temp agency and, they hire people just to make it look like they're "running a business". Every review I've read about this place, down to the CEO is everything people said it was. Their employee turnaround is ridiculously high & I see why. I'm honestly surprised they're still in business. A bunch of blind leading the blinder. DON'T FALL FOR THEM BLOWING SMOKE UP YOUR BUTT, IT'S ALL LIES! I created a yelp account simply to warn people to avoid this sorry excuse for a professional medical establishment. Horrible place that cares more about money than helping their clients. Even staff members complain about the practice. You'll never reach anyone by phone, only get an answering machine and if you're lucky you might get a call back. Once, my child's appointment was cancelled so I could meet with a staff member to go over results of a test since they cannot double charge the insurance company for one day. The "meeting" was a quick 2 minute hand off of paper work and about 5 words that they could have told me at his therapy appointment but refused to do since they wouldn't be able to charge for it. Also keep copies of all paperwork and if you do leave the practice expect to be treated like complete garbage or completely ignored when you request any type of paper work. Doctor Hamidinan, As a patient, I am very concerned about your treatment protocols. Like, so many patients, I feel you have betrayed our trust for your own personal gain. $80,000 Audi A8 Coupe. With $2000, custom rims. Parking, with no regard, in the handicap parking spot, for your personal benefit directly in front of the office. I also, can't understand why, yet, again, your two most loyal and trusted assistant physicians so abruptly departed your facility leaving over 300 patients without the care and medications that they critically needed. Without which they, all could be in jeopardy if they're safety and mental health? Such, disregard for so many who look for, depending on a safe place, to help them cope with the problems, to just pushed out on to the street, abandoned. I wish someone/anyone at this facility had a true calling to help people. I agree with Hannah, it is all about the income, not the treatment. So many people are struggling with mental health issues and as hard as they may try to get the help they so desperately need, this place just seems to shrug the patients off, visit after visit after visit. All disorders, major or minor, from PTSD or anxiety or bi-polar or any type of depression should be seriously addressed. The staff seems to think that the people looking for help are just low life drug addicts who require no counseling or medication and are released with absolutely no hope or direction. So where do these people go, who is out there to listen and understand, I would like to know. This is the exact way our experience ended...good bye, you are on your own! So after many weeks and many many visits, we are right back where we started from. Good luck to all who are looking for help, I don't think you will find it at this facility. read more
