The one right off the port has great upstairs seating. And there is a set of bathrooms upstairs. They have a good menu in English, but the drink menus are only in French. "Poutine reflects quebec's religious history and it's respect for the holy trinity. Poutine has to have the 3 elements; The Father (patate), The Son (Cheese Curds), and The Holy Ghost (Brown Sauce). This place, La Bonne Patate, respects this socio-religious historical institution and the cultural integrity of Quebec's patrimon to a very high order with a vigour that is all too rarely demonstrated. We stopped there on a Tuesday evening, about an hour before closing time. The good: Staff, although young, was very good and nice. Food was good (pizzas snd a sausage poutine). Place was cleaned and well maintained. Reasonable prices. The bad: The waiting time can be a tad long. Staff can not speak English (and it is understandable). Some staff and other teens were hanging out closer to closing time in the restaurant, and it was starting to get loud when we left (and it was a good 45 minutes before the place closes). An area of the restaurant had pizza boxes laying there, and a Subway drink cup, for the whole time we were there. So good food, good prices, but missing some form of management presence. Still a good choice to stop.
