I am a regular at Thai Express and frequent various locations in various Cities and by far this one is the absolute worst, so much so that it shouldn't even have the same business name. I understand different locations will have varying degrees of differences, but this one was too much. Whenever I go to Thai Express they can never get the food spicy enough but at least their extra spicy gives that spicy flavor and I've come to enjoy it. Unfortunately this location seems to think extra spicy means not only zero spice but also zero flavor. My Pad See Ew came bland as cardboard and just as dry, the beef literally turned to dust in my mouth. If this was extra spicy, then water must be their hot sauce. My wife ordered a Pad Thai without tofu and when we opened the the box, right on top and mixed throughout the dish were loads of tofu chucks and the entire dish tasted "off". I don't believe they used the correct sauce. Once both meals were discovered wrong I immediately brought the dishes back and after some discussion with the "team lead" I was told that I could have a refund for the Pad Thai only but not for the Pad See Ew because whoever cooked it argued that there was hot sauce put in there, they never did address why the noodles and beef were so dry. After some more back and forth with the cashier on why only one dish is being refunded she explained that she could only do what her team lead advised. A team lead that only stayed in the back and wouldn't even show his face. Trying to make things right she offered me a heaping cup of hot sauce to add to my noodles to try to "fix" the problem. I'll admit it helped but it was no where near good and my wife couldn't even finish half of her Pad Thai due to the "off" flavor. I feel bad for the cashier, she was very friendly and tried her best to help us, but thanks to her cooks and team lead's lack of care or customer service I have to advise others to stay away, unless you find cardboard spicy and like having your dishes made incorrectly.
