This book store is literally situated in the city centre, right at the Hugenottenplatz (opposite…read morefrom the McDonald's). It is rather large, set over three floors, and even includes a small café.
The variety of books is quite large, covering all topics you can think of: cookbooks and travel guides, fiction and non-fiction, books in all kinds of languages, and even an entire area devoted to school and university books.
It is perfect if you're looking for a gift (there is a huge "gift" area downstairs) or just browsing around.
However, if you are looking for one book in particular, chances are high that they don't have it in stock. The service is great, nevertheless, they will order it for you and you can usually pick it up the next day!
All in all, it's a nice store if you're looking for a random book to read, and it has a nice café included as well. (Try the Chai Latte!!) - just don't expect to find that ONE book you are looking for.
PS: There are couches right next to the "travel area", just grab a book that looks nice, sit down and start reading. That way, if you like it, you can still buy it after having a proper in-depth look.
