She offered champagne, water or a mimosa which was really nice. My stylist took longer than we expected instead of 45 minutes I was there an hour and a half. And I was honestly nervous because black hair is very different than others but she did great! They initially told me I would be charged an additional $20 for the extended time. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I'm not sure why the customer would be charged for the stylists issue with time management but I was happy the receptionist with the amazing attitude offered to waive it or subtract another charge for me. I'm happy with the way my hair turned out will happily return simply due to the better customer service. Update I referred my mother to this location one day after my visit and she had a VERY different experience She made an appointment online for 430 by 5oclock she still had not been helped She ended up leaving without getting her hair done because the stylist said "she couldn't do her hair" I will not be recommending anyone else here because that is definitely disappointing

However, the quality of the service was not great. I asked for my hair to just be down and curled. She didn't seem like she really wanted to be there or do my service, because I wasn't met with kindness or general respectful customer service. The stylist was very blunt and, in all honesty, not very nice. She then began curling my hair with a flat iron. I don't remember the name of my stylist but I noticed during my appointment that she was absurdly rough with my hair. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence or she pulled too hard on accident one time. She actually consistently pulled my hair extremely hard as she styled my hair with the flat iron and it was very painful. A couple days later, I noticed the top of my scalp to be tender and discovered some inflammation in my hair follicles. After reading some similar reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one who's had this painful experience & that their hair was also curled with a flat iron when there are curling irons readily available. I wasn't asked if I was okay with that either and neither were the customers in these other reviews. I am pretty disappointed considering the price of the service and the fact that the stylist was tipped accordingly. Will not be returning to this location. I hope management sees these reviews and takes them seriously considering the consistency of such events.

The color placement looked like thin pieces of straw in my curls. It was not chunky bayalage highlights I asked for. I went back to see her a few weeks to show her how my hair looked curly so she could fix it at our next appointment.
