WORST Service from Manager/Receptionist. Rude,…read moreunprofessional and plain mean. As a previous review states I was also charged 3x for an appt. I was also a Barfly. I called 5x leaving messages about the extra charges and sent a message through the website. Zero return call. I had to drive to the location to speak in person. I was a weekly regular and 15 mins late to last appt. Manager rudely reprimanded me telling me she could charge me for the service since I was 15 mins late. She pointed out 10 mins is OK but not 15. I reminded her my last appt they were 1 hour late and often 15-20 mins late regularly and I don't mind or complain. I brought up the 3x chg for last appt. Her response was "Did we charge you 3x bc you were late?" Argumentative from the moment I walked in. I was shocked as was my friend. I said NO! You all were late. She proceeded to argue about the charge and said I should thank "Jesus" she didn't charge me for being 15 mins late. It was like arguing with a low class family member that felt entitled to talk down to me. She then claimed victim status since I was addressing her extreme rudeness. Someone needs to send this lady to customer service training. Alternatively, My stylist was great and felt terrible for me. She told me not to let Carrie's behavior ruin my day and that they needed me at the salon. I'm there very frequently so lots of business to lose. I purchased a package so contacted Del Mar to see if I could use them at their location. Del Mar told me they get complaints about Carrie and that location as well. Owner Caroline should find a nicer option. At one point I considered Carrie friendly but her trashy behavior shows her true colors. I would sort of get it if I didn't pay on time or tip. I tip 20% each time and purchase many on demand each week. I feel bad for anyone that has to work with this mean person.

I have naturally curly hair and she was confident she could place the highlights to look great with my curls. After the color and cut she dried my hair straight and I told her the color looked good straight, but I would not be able to tell how I liked it until I styled my hair curly. I tipped over 20%, bought the products she suggested and scheduled my next appointment with her before I left that day. After styling my hair curly at home I realized it did not look good curly. The color placement looked like thin pieces of straw in my curls. It was not chunky bayalage highlights I asked for. I went back to see her a few weeks to show her how my hair looked curly so she could fix it at our next appointment. She was extremely rude and told me I disrespected her by coming to her salon to express my dislike for my hair. She then sent me a lengthy text and said I should find another hair stylist. I thought a long time before posting this because I understand how a poor yelp review affects a small business, but her behavior and inability to hear her customers feedback truly deserves one star.

That alone earned my trust, but what's kept me with her ever since is the consistency and care she brings to maintaining the long-term health of my hair. Over the years, she's not only kept my color and cut looking exceptional, but she's also helped me understand how to properly maintain my hair between visits with thoughtful product recommendations and guidance. She also worked with my daughter, who has naturally curly hair, and her expertise in curl care made a lasting impact. My daughter still uses the techniques Anya taught her years later, which speaks to the depth of her knowledge. Anya is equally strong in color, cutting, and styling--and recently, she once again corrected my hair with precision and ease. Beyond her technical skill, she's simply a pleasure to be around: warm, engaging, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find someone who combines this level of expertise with consistency and integrity over time. I trust her completely and wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm happy to recommend Anya without hesitation!

I found Thomas Edward Salon on Yelp after looking for a solid dry bar style service in Temecula. I…read morerecently moved from LA and was spoiled. There was always a Dry Bar nearby home or my office. It was predictable and dependable for special occasions and weekly blow outs as I'm terrible at doing my hair. I asked around everywhere online, FB Mom's groups. I guess it's not common here like it is in LA. Anyways, had a quick chat on Yelp with the salon and booked an appointment for a blow out and makeup for my outdoor maternity photo shoot. Michele did both my hair and makeup for me. She was excellent. She needed little direction from me at all. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. She's great! I was impressed. I will definitely return. As a newbie to the area, I didn't know but if you come here on a Saturday be prepared to park far away at City Hall and walk over. Not a big deal unless you're 8 months pregnant and hot! It's located right in the heart of Old Town and the tourists pour in here! Lesson learned. Give yourself extra time! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Michele.

Hands down one of the BEST hair and makeup experiences we've ever had!…read more From start to finish, our experience at Thomas Edwards Salon in Temecula was flawless. We shared our inspiration photos for both hair and makeup, and Alena and Mercedes absolutely brought our vision to life--with a level of care, artistry, and professionalism that exceeded all expectations. Alena, who did our hair, was simply phenomenal. She carefully walked through the inspo photos we provided and made thoughtful suggestions based on our face shapes and event needs. I told her I wanted volume at the crown, but still needed a style that would hold all night long--and wow, did she deliver. My hair stayed perfectly in place for 12+ hours, with lightweight hairspray that didn't feel stiff and a secure yet gentle hold using bobby pins. Alena's approach was kind, open, and collaborative, and her execution was perfection. I truly felt beautiful and comfortable the entire night. Mercedes, who did our makeup, was equally amazing. She matched our references exactly--giving my daughter a fresh, natural glow, and giving me a smoky glam look with a subtle shadow wing that was elegant and dramatic without being overdone. She even added a touch of body oil on exposed areas for that extra touch of radiance! Her attention to detail and commitment to making us feel confident and camera-ready was incredible. The reviews were right--these ladies are magic. I live in San Diego, and I will happily make the drive back to Temecula for my next event. Yes--even if it means going all the way back to downtown SD. They are that good. And a big thank you to Brenda for setting us up with these two gems! You've got a dream team at Thomas Edwards Salon, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.
