Later on Ilker brings out one of those hoverboard things and spins around the store on it. Why can't all food be this fun? There are 22 burgers on the menu, including one called The Herbert. I can barely count to 22. You know what's important in a good burger? Balance. You can have all kinds of crazy stuff and one giant patty and whatever, but for mine everything needs to be in proportion and work together, and the cunningly named Single Decker did just that - juicy thin patty, cheese, pickles, mustard, sauce and bun that all meld into a hand grenade of deliciousness. Just pull the pin and throw it at your face. Can't wait to try more. Full disclosure: a colleague bought this burger for me. Oh, and the results of the man vs food challenge? Close, but no cigar: 2.5 cheese-slathered patties left on the table.

(Make that a diet coke, I'm watching my weight) Haven't you heard? It makes all the difference. The chips were addictive; damn that chicken salt. Add to it the amazing dip options and I was shoveling those in my mouth non-stop. There was pickle mayo, guys...PICKLE mayo! Ive tried the Chicken and it was very tasty and sweet. I really go there for the Rice paper rolls. $4 gets you a take away container of 3, with satay and really hot chili dipping sauce. Chicken, Prawn or pork. Plain salad for the Vegos, or you can get a combo box. Perfect. They have gotten so popular they make a whole bunch of them now, so there is always some ready to go. It's 2 choices from the bain marie with rice. The choices can be either excellent or have just been sitting there for far too long. This really is a roulette wheel of culinary specifications. Recently expanding their shop size after having taken possession of the shop next door, you can now eat in, at one of Kogarah's Cheapest and most popular lunch spots. $6. It's the magic number between, yeah could be better but I'm feeling like a pig out full of fried and greasy goodness, and..... I'm taking this back. Gwilo (westerner) spec Chinese dishes such as Sweet and sour pork, Szechuan Chilli Pork, Chicken (if you can find the chicken) and vegetable and various other things like Terryaki Chicken and Grandma Tofu. I do really dig this as a no brainer lunch when i can't be bothered deciding on the topping for my sandwich, but it is a lottery, my friend. you have been warned.

They had three kiosks with individual lines for each. I ordered the Big Brekkie Burger and 20 piece chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were crispy, hot, and tasted healthier than the States' McDonald's chicken nuggets. The batter was thin and light with none of that processed chicken texture. The nuggets made in Australia have it done right. The Big Brekkie Burger had a crispy hash brown sandwiched between two Aussie beef patties, ham, egg, cheese, and BBQ sauce. It was a filling breakfast before my flight home and hit the spot. Service was standard. They had plenty of seating near the window to watch planes take off and land. If you're in the mood for fast food at the airport, Macca's seems to be the popular choice.

The restaurant is new-ish, the air conditioning is Siberian, there is a kids play area, a McCafe and a smoking area (all separated of course). The food is standard to all Maccas around the country so I won't bother describing it. The Clientele appears to be Westies, Bogans and other tightarses like me who don't want to pay for parking. Will I be back? You betcha!
