Recommended by the hotel and it's a three minute walk. Fast, fresh and a very good value. I tried calling and ordering online, but couldn't get through. The small restaurant is very clean. There was a long line and a short wait. There was one table that was full of diners and a counter that seated six. Six people were behind the counter packaging food, cooking, taking orders and serving. Everyone inside was so friendly, a man told me this is always 5 stars. I went to the corner of the counter and ordered a lemongrass shrimp sandwich and a beef pineapple with spring rolls. It came out to $14 and then I got on another line with my receipt and my number and waited to get called. My order was ready in five minutes. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The bread was fresh and it was filled with fresh vegetables. It was a beautiful day and many people were outside eating their sandwiches.

Ok, I use to go here 15 years ago when I worked downtown and I remember the prices back then. I saw an ad and could not believe their prices are the same still!! I ordered the Pineapple beef sub and shrimp salad rolls, my bill was less than $12!!! crazy! It was 4pm and it was busy, so my order took 20 minutes. You can order ahead and pickup, as There is not much parking around. Most vietnamese places would charge $12 just for the sub. The salad roll sauce was light and didn't have peanuts. Will be heading back soon!!

Nice small shop that opens late for the area. Small shop but very nice staff. Tried the lemongrass chicken vermicelli combo with spring rolls and beef enoki mushroom. The beef was severely overcooked but other than everything was really good and juicy. They were nice in offering cups of water as well! For $8.92 (including tax) and the size of the meal, def worth it!

The cashier was so cordial and helpful with the menu. I had the spicey sate beef rice noodle soup (#25), so very tasteful, great portion for a meal and piping hot. Spicey sate chicken sub (#12) with extra vegetables, wow about 18" and the best banh mi. So I definitely give the food 5/5 and to keep the prices affordable another 5/5. Its more of a takeout resto. So good, I may have to go again tomorrow.

The most affordable food, it's really the best value for food in downtown Calgary. We got the Beef & Chicken Steamed Rice and Chicken & Shrimp Steamed Rice. They tasted delicious and were cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were really generous and they only cost $8.50 each. The staff was so friendly, and the shop was small with limited seating. We went around 6pm and there were so many people waiting for their orders. They were super busy but it was totally worth it!

Wow all of my food was amazing! I went 2 days in a row and service was great both days. The first time I went was a Friday at noon, and the line was out the door. I waited about 20-25mins for my food, but it was worth it. The second day was on a Saturday at 1pm and it wasn't nearly as busy, but I placed an online order that was ready 20 mins after I placed it. I will be coming back if I'm ever in Calgary again- amazing!!!

There are better Viet subs nearby. I love banh mi and this place doesn't satisfy my banh mi craving at all. Been here once and never again.

My family went to the same pho restaurant for +10 years and one day we went and my niece said "oh…read moreno the broth is different" and we were all so sad that the taste of our fave things had changed. A few months later in Calgary Reddit I saw a tip that restaurant had links to Pho Han. We immediately came here and (cue heavenly chorus) my niece immediately gave the broth two thumbs up!! The portions are awesome, prices are great, the flavors popping and the service is amazing. We had kids spill all over the table and they were so gracious. Delivery has been perfect too.

Upon entry we were greeted by Michael ( later introduced ) his friendly and polite manner made a great impression and made us feel welcomed! Menu is extensive like most other Vietnamese restaurants, but we decide to try the basics; No. 1 House Special - broth is perfectly well balanced with herbs & spices, cuts of beef were all high in quality & quantity! Pho is cooked al dente! A perfect 10! No. 19 Hu Tieu Nam Vang - a pork based soup with shrimp, sliced pork, minced pork, quail eggs with clear noodles .. love the way they torched the sliced pork belly to give it that extra charred flavour! Its unique flavour is enhanced with a touch of sesame oil, add your fresh chilli to give it that extra kick!! I have added Pho Han on my Calgary list of top restaurants! Will be back when I am in town again!!

The restaurant was pretty spacious and not very busy on a Saturday late afternoon. The place however was a little warm inside, maybe the AC wasn't working as they had some fans on. We ordered the vermicelli dish and pad Thai as the staff told us it was their most popular dish. The pad Thai was indeed one of our favorite. It had a unique smoky flavor to it. We also ordered the pho and eggplant dish. The pho had a surprisingly rich flavor. I would definitely recommend the pho. Overall we were very pleased with our meal and left full with hardly any left overs.

Being a vegetarian, I have had a hard time getting pho that's flavorful but the chefs here have magic in their hands, they have put so much heart and effort in packing so much flavor in their broths! I had the Sate Tofu Noodle Soup, ah can't get the taste out of my head!! Such richness, the freshness of the house made tofu paired with soft rice noodles was just beyond perfection!! The Pad Thai was also delicious: it missed one thing: crushed peanuts which we usually get at Thai restaurants. The restaurant has a very calm and peaceful auto to it!!! Full of large plants and a meditation area, it's a nice getaway from the corporate hustle outside. The place closes at 8, so reach early.
