One of the most amazing spas. Bc first time in Hot Springs, I assumed I would do bathhouse experience, skip it. They are very touristy and VERY busy (lines out the door) in my mind that means likely not the cleanest. Thai me spa is pristine, the staff is great, massage was amazing, and the hot spring soak was clean and it a serene and peaceful setting. Only signed up for the mineral water spa. Only issue is the yelp location was set up to fisherman wharf which is their old location. That is 20 mins away. As a warning to everyone, just google/apple map the place it should lead you downtown Hotsprings across bathhouse row. Even 20 minutes late and shop was closing the employees were very accommodating keeping the shop open for us to use the full 30 mins compared to the one hour booked and charged us for only 30 mins. The outdoor spa itself looks clean, and jets and temps were perfect. Overall experience was pretty good outside a small error on yelp page. Bathrobe and towels were provided, shower is a bit confusing with it being a triple knob but having multiple nozzles was quite a nice surprise. read more

My husband and mom came to this place early one Sunday morning. They loved the oxygen bar, the cold plunge , the smell upon entry of the spa and the outdoor mineral water soak under a covered awning to escape the sun. This place I found because I just didn't like the appearance of the bath house experience on bath house row. I didn't want our family to have to separate during the mineral soak. Here your family including children can come. As long as the children are mild mannered because spas are supposed to be on the quiet side for relaxation they are more than welcome to come. The staff here, Ms. Morgan FANTASTIC!!!! Welcoming , personable, and she explained clearly how everything works and what everything is used for concerning your problem areas and what would best benefit you using the oxygen bar. My family had a 7 hour drive ahead of us to return to Texas. My husband, the driver, was relaxed and energized enough to get us back home safely and he wasn't exhausted or in pain from our travels after the spa day. If you are not all that excited about getting into the pool or bath tubs at bathhouse row but you still want to soak in the hot spring water. Take a look at Thai Me Spa request Morgan. The therapist delivered excellent care, but the rest of the experience was deeply disappointing. I purchased a mineral bath gift certificate for my elderly mother, who later couldn't use it due to legitimate health concerns. Despite this, the owner refused to issue a refund and blamed "internal management issues."For a business built on wellness and hospitality, this level of inflexibility and lack of accountability is unacceptable. It reflects a much larger problem with the spa's ownership and how customers are treated when real issues arise. read more

I chose Thai-Me Spa because they actually answered the phone and were very informative when other bathhouses were not, mainly the Quapaw! I made a simple reservation online for a 1-hour mineral soak which and showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment. I was taken to the locker room and showed were the lockers and showers were, told to change into my swimsuit and wait outside the door for her to come back with a robe and flip flops. It took me over 5 minutes to even find a locker that actually latched as I was not going to leave my valuables unsecure. The lady never come back and I was left standing outside the locker room in just my swimsuit until another patron showed me where the soaking tubs were. There are 3 tubs which are just ok, not as hot as expected and one had a lot of foam. The foam is typically soap residue from people's skin and there is a defoaming product that eliminates this issue. My concern was blown off and told that it's normal. They will come get you the second your time expires to settle the bill after showering ang getting dressed. I received my bill with a $12 gratuity added which I vaguely remembered from the web site when booking. I don't mind them adding the tip, but I received no services that deserved a tip, but oh well. I was going to make an appointment for a massage the next day upon settling my bill, but I decided not to after receiving no sort of services and required to tip anyway. Ironically, the spa called me less than 30 minutes after I had left stating that someone's wallet was missing from the locker room and asked if I had seen it. I stated that the only thing I saw when I first arrived and was looking for a functional locker was a cell phone, but no wallets. They asked if I was certain and it almost felt as if they were placing the blame of a missing wallet on me. In my opinion, this is the responsibility of Thai-Me Spa and up to them to provide lockers that actually lock! read more

Edit: this is a response to the owners respinse. I told her at the beginning all of my issues. All of them were head/jaw related. I never once said anything about my feet or arms. I even told her after she offered to walk on my back, "no, just the headache massage please". If she was trying to go above and beyond, why didnt she do what I wanted? How is it better for me not to receive any pressure when I requested heavy pressure? The insinuation that this woman who has never met me knows more than me about my needs is insulting. Your therapists are paid to do what they are paid do do, not make up their own stuff based on vibes or whatever. She absolutely did not do what I communicated to her. There is no way she was trying to do what was best for me. If she had done that, I wouldnt be writing this right now. Honestly it was awkward, uncomfortable, weird, and a total rip off. I would leave negative stars if I could. If you're so sorry, refund me. _ Such a disappointment. I really was looking forward to a sinus/ headache massage. I grind my teeth a lot, my sinuses are messed up, I have lots of headaches, plus in in HS for a stressful reason. I did not get that massage. I requested deep pressure and I barely felt a thing. When I mentioned that to her (Lisa) she informed me that she's been doing this for 22 years. She did increase the pressure, but all I could feel were her long fingernails poking my neck. She barely touched my face. She spent more time on my arms and feet (not part of the service, and not something I wanted) than she did on anything headache related. When she did massage my head, it was more like she was just scratching my scalp. I think once she actually did something in the sinus area, but again, the pressure was so low that I barely felt anything. On top of all that, she tried to talk politics with me at the beginning. I had to say twice, " let's not talk politics". She also asked if I wanted her to walk on my back. Again, not what I signed up for. It was like her specialty is somewhere else, she didn't want to do this massage, and instead tried to turn it into something she wanted to do. We had a great couples massage on a recent trip. They were accommodating to find us an appointment on the phone when the site calendar had no availability. SKIP any offered beverages! We were charged $14 for 4 oz of Moscato that I believe was sparkling grape juice. Contacting the owner; offered us another pour upon our next visit and we live 1,200 miles away! The name of this business is very deceiving. I thought it was an authentic Thai massage place, but it's not. While they have a few services labeled as Thai, the "custom Thai massage" is just hot stones and hot towels, this is not an actual Thai massage. Thankfully, the therapist did her best to adjust for me. The real reason I'm leaving a zero is because of the Thai facial. It was advertised as including a pressure massage, which is exactly what I needed for my sinus headaches. But there was absolutely no pressure, I couldn't even tell my face had been massaged. I asked if they gave me the correct service, and they insisted they had. When I voiced my concerns, they argued with me instead of listening and then told me I had to pay an additional 20% gratuity with no option to adjust the tip. I walked away unsatisfied, uncomfortable, and feeling scammed. I would have happily tipped the massage therapist (she tried), but the facial was a complete waste. Most facials I've had include some scalp, shoulders, and face work, here it was basically arms and a barely-there touch on my face. I wish this had been a real Thai spa, but it wasn't, and being forced to pay extra for a service that failed to deliver made it worse. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A PRENATAL MASSAGE. It took me a while to even process what I just paid for once I left. I showed up early after booking online, thinking that was what I've always done at other establishments. (Limited instructions given when booking online). Person behind the counter smelled like cigarettes when I entered which was my first sign that this place was not the zen spa I had hoped for. The "spa" is run down and in no way relaxing. I was asked to wait in an area that also looked like it served food with a large ice machine and TVs everywhere.. just because you play calming music, it doesn't make the lackluster decor and ambiance more enticing. I was greeted right at my appt time and taken to the same room that my massage would be in. I was never given a robe or hot towel the entire time and rushed through changing and getting on the table. I was there for a prenatal massage, however no extra time was given for me to go to the bathroom, change, or get on the table. Unlike most places, your appt time starts immediately and if you have to go to the bathroom, well that uses your time.. and you aren't given a robe so I guess I would have worn a sheet to the bathroom down the hall? No hooks or even a designated place to put your clothing and the rooms were makeshift at best. It literally looks like fabric stapled to the ceiling and poor quality murals on the walls. My bed was propped with a rag underneath one leg which made me question how sturdy it would be. (I wish I would have taken pictures as I don't feel like I'm explaining just how poorly set up/ outdated the rooms and equipment are) I am bolding this next part so that it will catch your eye as this is a lengthy review. THIS PLACE IS NOT SET UP TO DO PRENATAL MASSAGES as advertised on their website. In fact, their site is a complete 180 from what you actually receive in real life. My therapist tried to make accommodations with the limited resources they had but it was obvious they do not do these often.. (also a bed with a hole in it that you never use does not mean you are equip to doing prenatal massages) and that made me nervous and in no way relaxed. This review has nothing to do with the therapist and everything to do with a poorly run establishment that is cutting corners and deceiving people. I honestly feel like they need to be on one of those tv shows that exposes businesses with an undercover customer filming their experience, so that people can really see how bad it is. At the end, gratuity was added to my bill without telling me- I had to prompt. There was also a half full cup of water sitting on the counter at checkout and I had to ask if that was for me. My advice for this place is to walk across the street to any of the establishments there and ask for a tour. Take notes of their setup and how they greet customers when they enter. See how the rooms are designed, and get a feel for the standard people expect to receive from a quality spa. They use the term "spa" too loosely, in reality this is a MEDIOCRE MASSAGE PARLOR. I look back at the website now- the picture of the pregnant woman lying on her side so relaxed with a flower in her hair and laugh out loud...Fool me once. read more

*My review is for the downtown location.* From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and pampered. Unfortunately we were a couple of minutes late due to weather and parking. (Highly recommend parking in the $4/hr lot just down the street rather than wasting time finding street parking). My friend and I purchased the Me Time package which included a massage, foot scrub, mini facial and bath soak. Brenda provided a firm but relaxing massage, really working out the knots. The facial felt wonderful. The ingredients used didn't irritate my sensitive skin and left my face so soft. The foot scrub was just ok. Likely rushed because I ran late. Following the massage, I was led to a private bath where I soaked in a super hot tub with an aroma of my choosing. I was kinda stuffy so I picked a headache blend. It worked wonders. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was not a true Hot Springs mineral soak. But it felt great. There was also a light snack and a mimosa. Note: you will probably need to get out at some point and turn the overhead exhaust fan on because it gets very hot and steamy. I would not recommend the bath if you have high blood pressure. Our couples massages were wonderful and the masseuse was very attentive. The two couples' baths we had were marginal compared to the personalized service and amenities we received at the Chrysalis and Oaupaw Spas. They had robes, slippers, and separate rooms to change in versus getting our clothes wet between baths and massages. The water in the two baths was scalding hot and we had to add cold water both times to cool it off enough to get in the bath. The tubs were not big enough for a couple to comfortably stretch out. There was also a mandatory 20% tip tacked on for all services including the subpar bath experience. This was not disclosed on the website or at booking. The masseuse defiantly deserved a 20% tip or better but not whoever did our bath service. The masseuse did get us robes after they realized we didn't get any to go back to our bath after the massage so that was sweet but still cramped for two people to get dressed and keep our clothes dry. read more

She was very monotone when we entered but she was then all of a sudden sweet when it was time to ask if we wanted to add on the 20% gratuity. Tasha did a great job with my massage. I ordered the Thai Me Custom massage. It was a bit different than I was use to but I did leave feeling relaxed. I'd definitely go back. I came for a couples massage. I opted for the deep tissue and my partner, the Swedish. I appreciated the ability to mix and match for the lower price of the Swedish. My masseuse was excellent! I don't remember her name but she was a middle-fed Asian woman. Maybe her name was Okinawa?? Or Owala??? She was in constant communication throughout the massage which was such a relief because I have major social anxiety and need to work on speaking up when services I paid for aren't going my way. I probably need some therapy for it too but whatever. It was NICE that I didn't have to have an anxiety-riddled massage because due to her frequent check-ins. The pressure was perfect; deep with the use of elbows, palms and knuckles but not painful. She also stepped on my back and did a small hop to pop my upper spine. It was so drool worthy. This place is nice and a great location, but the massage was average at best. Paid for an 80 minute massage and got maybe a 40 minute massage. My appointment was at 2 and My therapist didn't start the massage until 2:20. She spent about as much time looking for stuff and circling the bed than she did massaging me. My wife and I booked a couples massage and ended up getting stuck in two separate rooms. We have had much better massages in town for half the price. read more

Definitely the best massage/bath place in hot springs and in addition to the quality of the massage, the customer service was excellent, particularly the woman at the front desk named Whitney. You could tell she really cared about us as customers and even let us in after closing to allow us to book for the following day. Also, made us feel welcomed, was very informative, and gave us recommendations of other things to do in the area!
