OK place. As with many budget-category massage places, you can't expect it to have the most relaxing ambiance of all time -- I felt uncomfortable when, after removing all of my clothes, I had my feet washed while the curtain to my treatment room was partly open, thus giving a free show to anyone in the reception room as well as the passer-bys on Greifswalderstrasse (the reception room has a completely glass wall looking out onto the busy street).
The massage itself was pretty good and my massage technician was friendly. Although I do appreciate it when the technician asks if the pressure they are using is ok, I got mildly annoyed that literally every 30 seconds, I was asked if I was in pain or told that the next part of the massage might hurt a little. I've never previously gotten a Thai massage before; it sure was interesting! For those who don't know, Thai massage involves the technician stretching you out and using various body parts to work out the kinks (nothing inappropriate though, but for example, lots of massaging using their feet). To top off the experience, I was given a cup of fresh ginger tea. That was nice! read more
