It was a short (2 stops on the U bahn from where we stayed) Though it is on a side street, it was NOT hard to find. Just google map it! We wanted Vietnamese food (I am from Saigon, Vietnam originally)....OMG food was so fantastic here!!! So pleasantly surprised, it was better & more authentic than the Vietnamese food in NYC. Who would've guessed, in a small city near Nurnberg, there is such great food. It's a "mom & pop" family owned restaurant. So the own gave us free shots of his homemade herbal/ medicinal wine, it was so smooth & strong, lol I was super surprised & happy. If you are near by....this is a must go pit-stop for food, if you like authentic Vietnamese food. Must order the duck!!!!! But still was not a bad choice. Overall the drinks menu was not much to offer. We ordered chicken soup, Chicken kum pao and Duck chop suey. All the dishes were delicious. The chicken was tender and duck properly fried.Overall with all these dishes and beer it cost us around 20 Euros for 2 persons, which was just perfect. The prices are less, but the quality and taste of food was surely not compromised. The service was quick and the lady (probably the owner) was friendly. Overall surely worth going for good food with normal price range.

The inside of the restaurant is really pretty and has a huge fish tank on the back wall. We ordered Peking soup and mushroom soup. We also ordered the spicy fried chicken (highly recommend) and Duck with hoisin sauce. They bring out a dish warmer so your food doesn't get cold. We were too full for dessert, but even if it's not a holiday I recommend eating here. They take a variety of credit cards.

It's a bit difficult to locate as it is on the second floor and there is only a small sign at the entrance, which is located in a pedestrian only zone. A word of warning to my American friends: German Chinese food is very different from American Chinese food, so come here with an open mind. The hot and sours soup is phenomenal, albeit very different from the American version. The menu is extensive and heavy on morels, bamboo, pork and duck. Entrees are placed on a warming dish in the middle of the table, making sharing easy. For dessert I highly recommend the fried bananas with honey (also very different from the American dish by the same name).
