We were sorta surprised, but hey, we ordered a la carte. The food was decent but not great. To sum up: the food did not blow our mind, the price was standard, but the waiter looked like he wanted us and the rest of the patrons gone, ASAP. He threw the cutlery on our table instead of placing it next to the plate and did not answer when we said goodbye. I would understand if he were tired after the entire day of work but we arrived at the restaurant at 1:45 PM. No cookie points.

It's a bit difficult to locate as it is on the second floor and there is only a small sign at the entrance, which is located in a pedestrian only zone. A word of warning to my American friends: German Chinese food is very different from American Chinese food, so come here with an open mind. The hot and sours soup is phenomenal, albeit very different from the American version. The menu is extensive and heavy on morels, bamboo, pork and duck. Entrees are placed on a warming dish in the middle of the table, making sharing easy. For dessert I highly recommend the fried bananas with honey (also very different from the American dish by the same name).
